Go!

On Sunday, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I let you know I was headed to Bible study and worship, with my church family.

This was something I truly did.  And, enjoyed every moment.

We had a missionary couple visit us.  So, instead of our pastor preaching, the husband of the missionary couple spoke.  And, his wife sang to us!  :)

After once again having only one (1) hour of sleep, I was so-o very grateful that I didn't find myself dozing off.    I must admit, what this missionary had to say was very encouraging.  Even so, I thank God for keeping me awake!

Afterwards, we had a pot-luck luncheon.  Once again, I enjoyed a meal with my church family.  Thank You, Lord!

Due to having this meal at lunchtime, I didn't have to do any cooking for dinner.  Well, at least not anything more than cooking a couple of eggs... :) lol!

Thinking about the work that missionaries do, makes my heart skip a beat.

Some people think that it is not necessary to send people to do missions work, to various other countries.  Some people think that we definitely do not need to have people do missions work, even here at home.

However, the truth is... people are needed to do missions work.  Where?  Here.  There.  Everywhere.

Just as Jesus told us, in Mark 16:15, "And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature."

Some people have condemned me for preaching the gospel to people.  However, I know that God will bless me for doing so.  After all, isn't that what our Lord just told us in today's verse?

We are to go into all the world.  Not just certain places.  But, everywhere.

And, while there, we need to be preaching the gospel to every creature.

Every creature.  Not just some.  Not just those we think need it.  But, to everyone.

Yes, there are parts of the world, countries, areas, cities, towns and villages where more of this needs being done, than in other parts of the world.  However, even in some areas that we may think don't need this done, it truly needs to be done.

If this weren't the case, our Lord, Jesus Christ would not have told us to do this.  He would not have commanded us to do what He said.

Whether we leave home and travel in obedience to God's calling, or whether we stay home, and become missionaries, right here at home, it truly doesn't matter.  The only thing that matters, is that we do as He requested.

So, my friend... reach out.  Touch someone, today.  Plant those seeds for Christ.

By doing so, you'll be blessed.

Until next time...
