Come...

I'm sure you aren't surprised that here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'm letting you know that I am going to attend Bible study, today.  And, will be going to worship afterwards, with my church family.

As I've said in the past, one way I enjoy worshipping, is through music.

After discussing lately, about how we all need to come to Christ, a song/hymn began resonating within me.

I believe this song Come To Jesus was written by Mindy Smith, even though it is sung by Chris Rice on this YouTube link:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PANiveIKVX0.  The lyrics are below.

Come To Jesus

Weak and wounded sinner
Lost and left to die
O, raise your head, for Love is passing by
Come to Jesus
Come to Jesus
Come to Jesus and live!

Now your burden's lifted
And carried far away
And precious blood has washed away the stain...so
Sing to Jesus
Sing to Jesus
Sing to Jesus and live!

And like a newborn baby
Don't be afraid to crawl
And remember when you walk, sometimes we fall...so
Fall on Jesus
Fall on Jesus
Fall on Jesus and live!

Sometimes the way is lonely
And steep and filled with pain
So if your sky is dark and pours the rain...then
Cry to Jesus
Cry to Jesus
Cry to Jesus and live!

O, and when the love spills over
And music fills the night
And when you can't contain your joy inside...then
Dance for Jesus
Dance for Jesus
Dance for Jesus and live!

And with your final heartbeat
Kiss the world goodbye
Then go in peace, and laugh on glory's side...and
Fly to Jesus
Fly to Jesus
Fly to Jesus and live!

Fly to Jesus
Fly to Jesus
Fly to Jesus and live...

Yes, we all need to come to Jesus.

It matters not, who we are.  Where we were born.  Where we live.  How we were raised.  Or, if we were raised by some form of religion, or not.

We need to trust in/believe upon Jesus, Christ.  The Son of God.

Just as we read, in John 3:36, "He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him."

If we do trust in/believe upon Jesus, we receive everlasting life.

Anyone who does not trust in/believe upon Jesus, shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.  Just as we were told in today's Bible verse.

God has made it clear.

If we do not trust in/believe upon our Lord, Jesus Christ... we will suffer for eternity and experience God's wrath.  His wrath, will keep the unsaved separated from Him, forever.  With no chance of escape.

So, if you haven't already done so, come to Jesus.  And, live.

Until next time...
