Wonderful!

Last week, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I posted an entry entitled, Here Comes The Rain Again.  In case you didn't read about it, here's a link so you can check it out:  http://www.lifewithlynnie.com/2014/11/here-comes-rain-again.html.

Even though I posted it a few days ago, I had actually written it, a couple of weeks ago.  Prior to my birthday.

I thought I would mention this, so that you wouldn't think I had posted this song, with this title, because of the upset I experienced on my birthday.

When that song first began resonating within me, I wasn't aware of some things that would happen to me.  Yet daily, I would wake up with it in my heart and mind.

At first, I didn't understand why God was using that music within me.

Then, it occurred to me that He was letting me know that some kind of trouble would begin, in my life.  And, it has.

It seems that I've had some issues that have been upsetting to me.  Not just with family, though.

Also, with friends.   And, regarding work issues.

So, when He let me know... Here Comes The Rain Again... it was like He was loving me.  Loving me  enough to warn me about hurtful things that would be happening.

For this, I am truly thankful.  After all, He is a truly wonderful God.

Thinking of this, brought to mind Psalm 40:5, "Many, O Lord my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered."

Yes, I am truly thankful that God loves me.  For, because He does love me, He has done many wonderful works.

Works that can only be received, through Him.  And, not received through any other source.

All because... I belong to Him.

I am His child.  Not just His creation.

How did I become His child?  By trusting in/believing upon His only begotten Son, our Lord, Jesus Christ.

It's that simple.

My friend, there is NOTHING you can do in your life, to gain or contribute to your salvation.  Nothing.

It can ONLY happen by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.

Once you do this... you become saved.  Just as God's Word, the Bible tells us.

Hallelujah!

Until next time...
