Answered Prayer?!

In yesterday's Life with Lynnie (LwL) entry, you found out that a single brother in the Lord, friend of mine, died.

Well, Thursday was also a wonderfully shocking day.  Concerning another brother in the Lord, friend.

Derek posted on his blog, Derek's Bike Trip, about something that was encouraging, regarding his health situation.  Here is a link, so you can read about it, if you like:

If you read the entry, you'll know that Derek had some testing done, once he returned to England, where he is from.  The results of his blood testing, were negative.

For this, I praise God!  Hallelujah!

Hopefully, his oncologist and urologist will confirm that he is doing well, and is no longer suffering from cancer.  Much like what the blood testing shows.

How happy I am for him.

Not just because Derek's health seems to be improving, although this is wonderful!  But, also, because it was an answer to prayer.

I prayed for him, and for many other people I know, that God would take any cancer cells within him, and those others as well, and shrink those cells until they disappeared, leaving Derek and everyone else cancer free.

From what was said in his blog entry, it seems that God has answered my prayer, and the prayer of others, for Derek.

Thinking about the answered prayer for Derek, reminded me of John 15:7, "If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you."

It's so very important to abide in Him.  Our Lord.

For, if we abide in Him, and His words abide in us, whatever we ask, will be done for us.

Knowing that our Lord, Jesus Christ told us this, we need to focus on Him.  Abide in him.  And, allow His words to abide in us.

Just as I do. And, just as my brothers and sisters in the Lord, do.

Like Derek, who is a fellow who has suffered much, in his lifetime.  Not just from health issues, but also life issues that would affect anyone, the way they have him, in the past.

It seems from what he wrote, that he's beginning to feel much more encouraged.  For this I praise God, for answering more prayer I've prayed for him!  Thank You, Lord!

Friend, please trust in/believe upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.  Pray for others.  And, read the Bible.

By doing so, you'll truly be blessed.

Until next time...
