At War?

Once again, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), we'll be discussing Islam.

Here is a link to an article by The Windsor Star entitled, Windsor imam speaks out against people joining ISIShttp://blogs.windsorstar.com/news/windsor-imam-speaks-out-against-people-joining-isis.

I don't believe this man, because the Qur'an teaches Muslims to convert the world... peaceably if possible, but if no conversion of people to Islam happens, then they have the right to cut off our heads.

Just know that TAQIYYA teaches Muslims that they should not lie to fellow Muslims, but they can and should lie to infidels (we, who are not Muslim).

So, how can we even believe this man? Who is to say that he doesn't want people to go overseas to join ISIS?

Possibly, his alternative method might be to create groups here in Canada, to fight us at some point in the future.

What can we do about this?

As citizens of Canada, there is nothing we can physically do.  Other than to speak up/out to others, and to our government.

Although, I must say that during the first world war (WW1), my grandfather, who was an immigrant to Canada from Bukovina (which is now divided into part of Ukraine and Romania) was held in an internment camp.  Why?  Because, people were afraid of him, being a person who could speak about a half dozen languages... and were nervous wondering if he was a spy.  Which he wasn't.

During the second world war (WW2), Japanese people were held in internment camps after what happened to USA, at Pearl Harbor, December 7, 1941.

Of course, people generally do not believe that we are at war, at this time.  So, this won't happen, now.

However, I do not agree.

We might not be at war with Islam.  But, I believe Islam is at war, with us.  All of us, who are not Muslims, or what they call... infidels.

Just because people are not wearing governmental uniforms, and/or following a regimental plan, doesn't mean people are not at war with us.  After all, we have been attacked.

This is a different kind of war, than what we've ever experienced in our lifetime.

Is this surprising?  Not to me.  After all, God told us there would be a time of war.

Just as He did, in Ecclesiastes 3:8, "A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace."

Yes, there is a time for everything in our lives.

As we read in today's Bible verse, there is a time to love, and a time of peace.  Plus, there is a time to hate, and a time of war.

Hopefully, you'll understand what I am trying to say, here.

Even though I am not a hateful person, hating others, or even Muslims, I believe we are at a time of war.  War that is very different than any war, in the past.

Instead of being attacked in a way similar to past events, we are being attacked in a very different way.

From within our borders.  By those, who wish to take over the world.

As I mentioned before, as citizens, there is not much we can do, except to speak up and out.

But, as Christians, we also need to pray.  And, plant those seeds for Christ, as God commanded us to do.

This way, God's plan of redemption will be fulfilled, for many.

Until next time...
