Blessed Trinity!

Once again, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'm letting you know I'm happy it's SONday.  Our Lord's Day.

For sure, I'll be heading to our church building, to worship with my church family.  And, attend Bible study class, as well.

Recently, I realized that I had not posted here on LwL a hymn that I absolutely adore.

It is by Reginald Heber and John B. Dykes.  It's entitled, Holy, Holy, Holy! Lord God Almighty.  Here is a link for you to listen and/or sing along:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rBGTPh2Xn_o.  The lyrics are below.

Holy, Holy, Holy! Lord God Almighty

Holy, holy, holy!  Lord God Almighty!
Early in the morning
Our song shall rise to Thee.
Holy, holy, holy!
Merciful and mighty!
God in three Persons, blessed Trinity!

Holy, holy, holy!
All the saints adore Thee,
Casting down their golden crowns
Around the glassy sea.
Cherubim and seraphim
Falling down before Thee,
Which wert, and art, and evermore shalt be.

(This verse was not recorded)
Holy, holy, holy!
Though the darkness hide Thee,
Though the eye of sinful man
Thy glory may not see.
Only thou are holy--
There is non beside Thee,
Perfect in power, in love, in purity.

Holy, holy, holy!
Lord God Almighty!
All Thy works shall praise Thy name
In earth, and sky, and sea.
Holy, holy, holy!
Merciful and mighty!
God in three Persons, blessed Trinity!

This hymn reflects what the Bible tells us.  In several ways.

First of all, God IS holy.  God is in three (3) persons:  Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

While we use that terminology today, in the past, God has been known by various terms.

Just as we read, in 1 John 5:7-8, "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one."

How grateful I am for God.  For having Him in my life.

And, being part of His family.

For this, I will always praise Him!

Until next time...

Raymond Ibrahim...

As I've discussed recently, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), on Sunday, November 16th I crossed over from Canada, into USA.

As you're probably aware, I made my way to Bloomfield Hills Baptist Church (BHBC).  As mentioned in previous LwL entries, this is where a previous pastor of mine, Dr. Donald McKay, is lead pastor.

Pastor Don, has been one of the best pastors I have ever had.  I praise God for him!

After all, he is a wonderful teacher/preacher of God's Word, the Bible.

The worship service was wonderful.  Of course, the gospel was preached.

However, truth about Islam was also discussed.

Afterwards, all who worshipped and were staying for the pre-scheduled afternoon conference, went upstairs.  Together, we enjoyed a delicious meal.  Thank you, so very much!

Not only was the food good, but I was actually able to speak with a few people I know.  And, had some fellowship time, with some people I met.  I truly felt like I was celebrating with others, there!  :)

Later, the conference and the question/answer period, was wonderful.  So was the speaker, Raymond Ibrahim.

Raymond Ibrahim, a fellow author, is from California, USA.  Here is a link for you to read about him, and his work: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Raymond_Ibrahim.  Here is another link for you to check him and his work, out:  http://www.raymondibrahim.com/.

Just as Raymond Ibrahim has done on some radio programmes, and/or interviews, he discussed Islamic ideologies, ISIS, Muslim persecution of Christians and other infidels (those who are not Islamic).  In addition, he discussed something that I have heard only discussed as jihad, but never before as Stealth Jihad.

Jihad of any sort, is evil.

Here is a link for you to read about Jihad:  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jihad.

As you can see, even though that link is trying to be nice about issues, the truth is, anyone who participates in Jihad is wicked.

Thinking about wickedness, brought to mind 1 John 5:19, "And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness."

I praise God that we... His children, who are trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, have gained salvation for eternity.  Yes, those of us, who believe upon Him, are of God.

Those who are not yet trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, have not only missed out on gaining eternal salvation, but are NOT of God.

At least, not our God.

Their god is Satan.  Satan, who is the god of the whole world.  And, who is wicked.  Truly wicked, and against God... our God.

My dear reader, if you are not yet trusting in our Lord, Jesus Christ, I pray that it is God's will, for you to come to Christ, as soon as possible.

Believe upon the Lord, Jesus Christ... and you shall be saved (Acts 16:31).

Until next time...

Here Comes The Rain Again...

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I must admit that music hasn't died.  Once again, I've awoken for quite awhile now, with a couple of songs resonating within me.

One I posted about, previously is entitled, Honey Won't You Open That Doorhttp://www.lifewithlynnie.com/2014/09/honey.html.

The newest one, is by the Eurythmics entitled, Here Comes The Rain Again.  Here is a link so you can listen and/or sing along:   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cC9OhK2Ovw0.  The lyrics are below.

Here Comes The Rain Again

Here comes the rain again
Falling on my head like a memory
Falling on my head like a new emotion
I want to walk in the open wind
I want to talk like lovers do
I want to dive into your ocean
Is it raining with you

So baby talk to me
Like lovers do
Walk with me
Like lovers do
Talk to me
Like lovers do

Here comes the rain again
Raining in my head like a tragedy
Tearing me apart like a new emotion
(Oooooh)
I want to breathe in the open wind
I want to kiss like lovers do
I want to dive into your ocean
Is it raining with you

So baby talk to me
Like lovers do
Walk with me
Like lovers do
Talk to me
Like lovers do

So baby talk to me
Like lovers do

Here comes the rain again
Falling on my head like a memory
Falling on my head like a new emotion
(Here it comes again, here it comes again)
I want to walk in the open wind
I want to talk like lovers do
I want to dive into your ocean
Is it raining with you

Here comes the rain again
Falling on my head like a memory
Falling on my head like a new emotion
(Ooooh... oooooh... yeah)
I want to walk in the open wind
I want to talk like lovers do
I want to dive into your ocean
Is it raining with you

Here comes the rain again
Falling on my head like a memory
Falling on my head like a new emotion

Something I haven't yet mentioned, here on LwL, is the fact that I've had something new happen within my life.  Something that I can probably relate to as being, rain... falling on me.

Even so, the part of this song that plays over and over inside me, is this:
So baby talk to me
Like lovers do
Walk with me
Like lovers do
Talk to me
Like lovers do

Concerning this new troublesome issue in my life, I've been speaking with God.  And, have been praying about it.

I've been talking with Him, much like I would a lover.  And, in my life, I've been doing everything I can to walk with Him.

It seems He may have opened the door to something in my life, that may change it.  At this point in time, only God knows what the outcome will be.

I must admit, I have faith.  Faith in Him.  And, am trusting God, for He rewards us... who are faithful.

Just like we read, in Hebrews 11:6, "But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him."

In any case, I am trusting Him.  And, believing that He has led me to open that door, that I never thought was a door that could be opened.

If what I am praying about happens, I'll not only know that He led me to do this, and approved the result, but I'll also know that it was truly an answer to prayer, since He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.  Like me... (I diligently seek Him).

No matter the result, I know that my faith in Him, will carry me through.

Until next time...

Happy American Thanksgiving!

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'm sure you are aware that I celebrate Thanksgiving

Being Canadian, we celebrate Thanksgiving in October.  However, when I was a child living in USA, we celebrated Thanksgiving in November.

I would like to wish all my family and friends who live in USA, a very Happy Thanksgiving!

Life isn't easy.  And, it's not always kind.

Many people suffer, greatly.  Even in countries like Canada and USA.

While others sometimes experience the best lives anyone could ever want, or have.

No matter what happens in our lives, we must give thanks.

Just as we read in 1 Thessalonians 5:18, "In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you."

Giving thanks may be simple.  Or, it may be difficult.

However, just as we read in today's Bible verse, giving thanks is required of you, no matter what.  For, it is the will of God in Christ Jesus... concerning you.

So, my friend, enjoy your day.  And, pray... thanking God, for everything in your life.

By doing so, you'll be blessed.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Until next time...

Hallelujah!

In yesterday's Life with Lynnie (LwL) entry, I mentioned that I had been asked many questions by the customs/immigration/border crossing officer on the US side of the border.

While this seemed unusual, because it was unusual, it was okay with me.

One of the questions asked of me, was what I was planning to do, after going to worship and attend the conference at Bloomfield Hills Baptist Church (BHBC), where I was headed.  My response to the officer seemed to surprise him.  But, I told him the truth.

I let him know I was going to the US Postal Service building, near Mexican Town, where I was going to have dinner, afterwards.

He seemed surprised.  And, asked me why I was going to the post office.

My response was that I was going to mail some Christmas cards and held up some in my hand.  This seemed even more surprising to him.

He asked me why I didn't mail them from where I live, in Windsor.  I let him know that it didn't make sense to mail them from Canada, when I was planning to visit USA.

I explained to the officer that the cards in my hand were to people living in USA.  And, to mail them from Canada would cost close to four (4) times as much money, to mail each card (I also had some larger items).  So, it made sense for me to mail them when I was visiting in USA.

He asked me who I knew in Arizona, and why I was mailing to them.  It was obvious to me, that he had actually read the address of the card on the front of the pile.

I let him know that it was definitely a Christmas card, and it was being sent to a cousin of mine, who lives there.

How thankful I was when I was given permission to carry on!

As I mentioned yesterday, I made my way after worshipping and attending the luncheon and conference at BHBC, to the post office.

Just so you know, it cost me just over US$48.00, to mail everything I had with me.

This may sound like a lot of money to you.  It certainly is, especially when the exchange rate means that it would actually be a value of about CDN $54.00.

However, had I mailed these things from Canada, it would have cost me over CDN $118.00!  Yes!  Before I made the decision to mail them from USA, I had confirmed what the cost of mailing of those things was, in Canada.

Ahh... what relief it was, to have been able to save that money.  And, use it instead to cover the cost of crossing the border both ways, my gasoline, and even the delicious food I was able to enjoy!

For this, I praise God.

Thinking about praising Him, brought to mind Psalm 56:12, "Thy vows are upon me, O God: I will render praises unto thee."

Just as we read in this verse, His vows are upon me.  For, I belong to Him, because I am trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ and for this, have received salvation.

I render praise unto Him... always.  For everything in my life.

Thank You, Lord!

You provided for me, in a way that most people would never have thought possible.  But, You did.  Hallelujah!

Until next time...

Fear? Not!

It's been a while since I mentioned worshipping, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).

You may/may not be aware, this past Sunday I joined my church family, to worship.  And, attended Bible study, before our worship service.

Like normal, it was a wonderful time of honouring God.  In spirit, in truth, and with music!

I was even wished Happy Birthday!  Thank you, my brothers and sisters in Christ.  May God bless each of you, who were loving towards me.

The Lord's Day, a week earlier, on Sunday, November 16th, I didn't worship with my church family.

Instead, as I mentioned in another LwL entry, I crossed over the border, to go worship, in Michigan, USA.  Here's a link, so you can read about what I posted, previously:  http://www.lifewithlynnie.com/2014/11/always-abounding.html.

Going to Bloomfield Hills Baptist Church (BHBC), I crossed through the Windsor-Detroit Tunnel.  On my way back home, I crossed over on the Ambassador Bridge, from Detroit, to Windsor.

Why did I do both routes?

Well, it was because the tunnel made a closer trip to drive to where I was going to worship, at BHBC, where Dr. Donald McKay, a previous pastor of mine, now leads in worship.  And, I arrived on time!

For this, I was thankful.  You see, even though I had given myself extra time to make my way to BHBC, it took some time for me to cross the border.

Unlike many times in the past, I was asked many questions by the border crossing/immigration officer, who spoke with me, and allowed me entry into USA.  Many more questions, than I've ever had, before!

Afterwards, I used a different route to drive back to downtown Detroit.

Instead of crossing across the border through the tunnel, I made my way over to the US Postal Service building on Fort St

It was there, where I mailed Christmas cards to some friends and family.

This is not far from Joe Louis Arena.  And, not far from Mexican Town Restaurant... my favourite Mexican restaurant anywhere near where I live!

It's been said to me, that it is rather dangerous to be driving in Detroit.  Especially, being alone.

But, I am not afraid.  I trust God.  I trust Him, for everything in my life.

Much like we read, in Psalm 56:4, "In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me."

I praise Him.  And, His Word.

My trust is in Him.

I will not fear.  And, did not fear.  Even though those areas near Mexican Town aren't what most people would think as being rather safe.

For sure, I enjoyed my dinner there.  But, I also brought home food for me to enjoy in another meal.  :)

All in all, it was a day that was truly a blessing to me.  Thank You, Lord!

Until next time...

My Home...

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I have a habit I do on SONdays.

Being our Lord's Day, I will go to Bible study with my church family.  And worship with them, afterwards.

Although we worship in spirit and truth, and through music, there is a song that I have never heard during a worship service.

It is by Jim Reeves and is entitled, This World Is Not My Home.  Here is a link so you can listen to it:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C4rKhOb-J0A.  The lyrics are below.

This World Is Not My Home

This world is not my home
I'm just a-passing through
My treasures are laid up
Somewhere beyond the blue.

The angels beckon me
From heaven's open door
And I can't feel at home
In this world anymore.

Oh Lord, you know
I have no friend like you
If heaven's not my home
Then Lord what will I do.

The angels beckon me
From heaven's open door
And I can't feel at home
In this world anymore.

I have a loving mother
Just over in Glory land
And I don't expect to stop
Until I shake her hand.

She's waiting now for me
In heaven's open door
And I can't feel at home
In this world anymore.

Oh Lord, you know
I have no friend like you
If heaven's not my home
Then Lord what will I do.

The angels beckon me
From heaven's open door
And I can't feel at home
In this world anymore.

Just over in Glory land
We'll live eternally
The saints on every hand
Are shouting victory.

Their songs of sweetest praise
Drift back from heaven's shore
And I can't feel at home
In this world anymore.

Oh Lord, you know
I have no friend like you
If heaven's not my home
Then Lord what will I do.

The angels beckon me
From heaven's open door
And I can't feel at home
In this world anymore...

Just as we read/hear in this song's lyrics, I believe I am just passing through this world.

This life, is not what God has in store for me, eternally.  Nor, for you.

I have no friend, like Him.  He is the only one who truly loves me.

So, when my life ends I will join Him, in Heaven.

Just as we read, Jesus said in John 14:1-3, "Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also."

He is preparing a place for me.  A place, in Heaven.

He told me so.  Just as He told you, as well... if you belong to Him.

He will come again, and receive me unto Him, so I can be with Him.

After all, He is the way, the truth and the life.  No man comes to the Father, but by Him.  Jesus.

If you are not yet trusting in/believing upon Him, you won't be saved.

If you are, I'll see you in Heaven.  And we will be able to honour Him together, eternally.

Beware! False Teaching/Preaching!

Today, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll finish addressing the issue of not accepting truth from God.

The topic today, relates to how there are many church groups and people who claim to be working for the Lord, who do not accept God's Word, the Bible.  And, allow sin to be acceptable.

On Facebook (FB), someone I know posted this Youtube link entitled, Beware the Emerging Church Movement:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1930C1GmMqM&feature=player_embedded  I found it to be worthwhile listening to and encourage you to do so.

Hopefully, you listened to and/or watched this video, showing Pastor Charles Lawson of Temple Baptist Church preaching/teaching about Revelation 13:12.  And, absolute truth.

As we hear, anyone can be non-liturgical, and still be a believer.

God is not concerned about what or how you wear your clothing, etc.  He's most concerned about what you believe in.

Here is an article published by The Independent (UK) entitled, Pope Francis assures atheists:  You don't have to believe in God to go to heavenhttp://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/europe/pope-francis-assures-atheists-you-dont-have-to-believe-in-god-to-go-to-heaven-8810062.html.the

Unfortunately, this last link won't open up to the article, anymore.  It did when I first posted it, here.

Hopefully, this is not due to some sort on online problem.

Hopefully, it is due to someone in charge realizing that the whole idea of the idea that anyone can go to heaven without believing in Jesus (who is God), was untruth.

People who do not agree with knowing and/or loving, trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ are not truly our brothers and sisters in Christ.

False teaching/preaching is leading people astray.  Even when people go to church and sit in a pew every week, to worship.  And, causing separation between those who worship in different church groups.

It seems that some groups will preach/teach in a way to adjust to society's lifestyles.  Like those groups who are accepting sin, within their ministries.

Sin is NOT acceptable to God.

Never was.  Never will be.

However, God will be forgiving of us, if we fall into sin.  But, only if we do as He told us to do.  Meaning, confess our sin.

Just as we read, in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

By confessing our sin, we will be cleansed.  Not by confessing to some pastor, priest or minister.

By confessing to God.

By confessing to God, it tells Him that you are sorry for what you've done that is unacceptable to Him.  If your confession is true and real, you will then want to sin no more.

You'll turn away from the sin.

Open Your Eyes...

Today, I'll be discussing something on Life with Lynnie (LwL), that I realize not everyone agrees with.  Hopefully, you do.

Just like I mentioned in yesterday's LwL entry, not every agrees on everything.

As I said before, this is okay.  After all, if we were all the same, and thought the same way, life would be very boring.

However, there is an issue that I believe everyone who considers themselves to be Christian needs to agree with.

Accepting God's Word.  The Bible.  And, everything God has told us, in it.

There are some people who say they are Christian, yet they admit they have never read His Word, the Bible.

Plus, there are some people who refuse to accept everything in the Bible.  Instead, they elect to treat the Bible like a buffet.  They will pick and choose what they wish to accept, and reject the rest.

This I find upsetting.  However, I'm not the only person who feels this way.

A fellow Christian has a video site, where she posts regarding issues of the Bible.  In addition, she posts about how prophecy is being fulfilled.  About how we are living in the last days.  And, about sin... and more.

Here is a link to a video by Evangelist Anita Fuentes entitled, Check out the new Demonic Toys Advertised for your kids this Christmas!:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n32J3y5e1f8.

Hopefully, you watched and/or listened to this video.  If you did, you'll be aware of how sin and Satan is prevalent throughout our everyday lives, in the society we live in, today.

Unfortunately, not everyone wants to accept the fact that Satan is the father of this world that we live in.

But, it is the truth.  Just as God's Word, the Bible, teaches us.

And, unfortunately, they will pay a price.

Just as we read, in Hosea 4:6, "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children."

Yes, unfortunately, some of those created by God, will be destroyed, for the lack of knowledge.

Like those who reject knowledge given to us, by God Himself.  Through His Word, the Bible.

He made it clear in this verse, that seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

Yet, some people would prefer to throw their eternity away and the eternity of their children, by not accepting God, His Word, and knowledge He has provided for us.

Even though we are all born in the image of God, and are created by Him, we will not always be His people.  We may be His created creatures, but we do not obtain eternal salvation, until we trust in/believe upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.

Just as the Bible teaches us.

Those who refuse to accept God's Word, may be destroyed.  Just as we just read, today.

Maybe not during their lives, on this earth.  But, usually in the afterlife, when they will spend eternity separated from God, with no chance of escape.

Friend, if you are not reading God's Word, the Bible... please, do so.  Read it.  Accept it.  And, trust God for everything in your life.

Do this, and you will be blessed, my friend.

Until next time...

Who Will Win??

In yesterday's Life with Lynnie (LwL) entry, I posted about someone I knew many years ago.  Someone, who claims to be a loving Christian, but who never shows me any Christian love.

Is this important to me?  Not really.

But, I believe it is important to God.

Please understand, I realize that we as humans, do not have to agree on everything in life.  Or, issues that happen throughout the world.

Like thoughts and issues about Islam.

Here is a link to what this unloving Christian fellow sent me.  It's an article published on National Post and is entitled, John Moore:  On Sun News and social media, open season on Muslimshttp://fullcomment.nationalpost.com/2014/11/14/john-moore-on-sun-news-and-social-media-open-season-on-muslims/.

Obviously, this fellow agrees with what John Moore wrote.  I don't.

Why?  The writer of this article claims that not everything being posted and/or discussed and shared with the general public, is true.

Well, I disagree.

A while ago, I met a woman who spoke at a church group.  She was not the only woman I ever heard speak about the issue she discussed.  Africa.  And, how she had been abused, and how she saw some of her family murdered.  By Muslims.

It seems that there are some people who wouldn't believe her.  Like possibly, that fellow who messaged me with the link to the article I don't agree with.

Was this woman lying?

Absolutely, not.

I've heard other women from Africa and indeed other countries, who have told the truth.  And, are glad they are here in Canada, now.  No longer living where they hope they would ever again, be attacked.

Here is a link to Wikipedia, who has information about a... List of Massacres in Nigeriahttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_massacres_in_Nigeria

If you read/looked over the list in that posting, hopefully you'll see that at the start of the list, there were not many attacks.  However, today... there are many, many attacks.

In fact, many countries in Africa have been taken over by Muslims.  By killing any infidels (unbelievers of Islam), especially Christians.

It breaks my heart thinking about the persecution our brothers and sisters are experiencing, even today.

Like those in Pakistan, Nigeria and other places where Christians have been killed.  Even in USA, England, and Canada.  Although we have not yet been overpowered by groups trying to kill many of us at one time.

What is the difference?

In those countries where they are considered to be 3rd world or similar, there is not enough governmental ability to ward off the killings, by Islamic men who enjoy murdering.  Here in what some Muslims call the west, we have stronger governments.  Governments who will stand up and fight against those who want to take over.

The question is... who will win?

While some may think this is a debatable issue, I do not think it is.  We have already got the answer.

Where is it?  The Bible.

There are many Bible verses about Satan.  Satan... the devil... the father of this world, of all unbelievers in Christ.  Not limited to, but including Muslims.

After all, as the Bible teaches, only once we come to Christ are we no longer a child of the devil.

However, until this happens, we are usually filled with sin.  And, are of the devil.

Just as we read, in 1 John 3:8, "He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil."

The devil sinneth from the beginning, just as we read, in this Bible verse.  And, he that committeth sin is of the devil.

God doesn't lie to us.  He told us truth... by inspiring the writing of the entire Bible.  And, through His Word, the Bible, we can see what will even happen in the future.

God will win.  And, so will we, who are His children.

How grateful I am that the purpose of the Son of God, was for Him to destroy the works of the devil!

Are you trusting in/believing upon the Lord, Jesus Christ?  If so, you'll be saved.  From sin and the devil.

Hopefully, you are.

If not, you'll suffer after you leave this world, for eternity.  With no chance of ever changing your eternal suffering.

Loving??

Today, on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'm going to address an issue that may not be acceptable to everyone.

Especially someone I knew years ago.  When I was younger.

This fellow seems to dislike me.  At least, that's the way it seem to me, even though he claims that isn't the case.

However, if you were in my shoes, you would probably believe that what he says to me, isn't the truth.

Why?  Because the only time I ever hear from him, is when he wants to be nasty to me about something/anything I either post on Facebook (FB) (no, he's not a FB friend, because he refuses to be), or on LwL.

Never, have I heard from him, in a kind, or gentle manner.

Even when I was going through extreme troubles, he never told me he was praying for me.  Not even when I truly needed prayer over the physical issues and many surgeries I've gone through.

Yet, he claims to be a loving Christian.

Truly, he should be.  He works in paid ministry.  Unlike many of us, who do God's work, without receiving any monetary compensation.

Please know I do not hate this person.

In fact, I pray for him, regularly.  Included in my prayer, is the request that God will let the Holy Spirit convict him and others like him, and bring them to their knees in repentance.

Why?  Not just due to his seemingly hateful attitude towards me.  But also, because being in paid ministry, he is working for a church group who promotes sin, by allowing and promoting same sex marriage.

In my mind, by doing this, he is virtually promoting a false gospel.  Even, if he is not preaching/teaching as such.

After all, anyone looking at what he does, and who he works for, would believe he is in agreement, and then would believe that this sinful way, is acceptable by God.  When, it is NOT.

Thinking about this, is only one (1) issue that confirms to me that we are in end times.

Emoaf.org posted a video on YouTube entitled, Above all you need THIS one thing to make it in these last days.  Here is a link for you to listen to it:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p5hqus1fhuo#t=41.

Hopefully, you watched/listened to that video.  If you did, you heard Anita Fuentes talking about the love of God.  About fear.  About sin, including same-sex marriage, and more.  All from God's Word, the Bible.

Thinking about this issue, brought to mind Galatians 1:6-12, "I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:
Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
10 For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.
11 But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.
12 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ."

In this age, there are many who pervert the gospel of Christ.

And, only believe that God is love.  While God IS love, He is also God of wrath.

Many do not even speak of this, during their times of preaching/teaching.

So, I'll continue to pray in a loving way.  For this fellow.  Plus, each and every other person doing a similar thing.

Always Abounding...

As I mention each week here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I go to worship on our Lord's Day.  SONday.

This past Sunday, I went to worship.  But, it wasn't with my church family, with whom I normally worship with.

Instead, I went across the border, into the United States of America (USA)!

In the past, I've mentioned how I believe that one of my previous pastors, was the best person God could have ever brought into my life, concerning Christianity.  Even to this day, I still believe this is the truth.

Dr. Donald McKay, who is the senior pastor of Bloomfield Hills Baptist Church (here's a link for you to check out him and his church family: http://www.bloomfieldchurch.com/ ) has kept in touch with me and others, in friendship, even though he and his family left Canada, to go work and live in Michigan, USA.

Not only did I go worship there on SONday morning, but I also enjoyed fellowship time, there.  And, a delicious lunch!

After our meal time was over, we gathered once again in the sanctuary.  This time, speaking, plus question and answer time took place.

It was a blessing being able to attend this conference.  Especially, since the speaker was from California, USA.  And, wouldn't be back into this area, anytime soon.

You may ask why I wanted to attend this conference.  Well, it was mostly due to wanting to make sure I was supporting God, in the work I do for him.

Just as we read, in 1 Corinthians 15:58, "Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord."

Listening to the presentation, I assure you that I know for certain that I am doing God's work in the right way.

Unfortunately, you won't be able to know more about what the discussion was about, until just over a week from now.  You see, I've already written and set up for publication, each LwL entry, until November 24th (inclusive).

Hopefully, you'll look forward to hear what I have to say, then.

Beyond Belief...

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I usually discuss things relating to worship and my church family, on Mondays.

Today, will be similar, but a little bit different.

You see, I met up with some of my church family.  On Saturday!

Our youth group held a fundraiser dinner, about 6:00 p.m. that day.  It was a pasta dinner.  :)

Unlike many other fundraiser dinners I have attended in the past, no fee was charged.  Instead, anyone attending gave a donation.

I must admit, this was truly a blessing to me.

Not just because of the food.  Although I must say, it was truly delicious!

The way those in charge of the group set things up, was wonderful.

The youngest children of the group didn't have to help out in the kitchen.  Instead, they assisted everyone by asking if there was anything we needed.  And, made sure that our needs were fulfilled.

They also wanted to make sure, and asked repeatedly if we were happy with our meal, and the service that was provided by the mid-aged children.  :)

Each person was not dressed in casual clothing.  Except for those older children who were working in the kitchen.

Instead, each person was dressed up in a more formal attire.  In fact, one young man was even dressed in a truly formal outfit.  He was the host!

After dinner was finished, we did something else.

We played games!  :)  The games we played were through a Wii system.

We were divided into teams, and played Family Feud.  Afterwards, we played Wheel of Fortune.  Then lastly, we played Jeopardy.

To be honest, I truly adore spending time with my church family.

Not just to have fun, as we did on Saturday evening.  But, also to be supportive.

Encouraging them, and helping them raise funds to support our church family youth group, is heartwarming.  At least to me.

Especially, since God told us to do so, in Galatians 6:10, "As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith."

I certainly like to do good to others.  And, do whatever I can.  Whenever I can.

By showing love to, and supporting my church family, I feel I am doing whatever I can to help them.  Especially, since they are of the household of faith, where I worship.

In my heart, I believe that my church family's youth group was blessed.  Me, too.

I wasn't just blessed by being obedient to God's Word.

I also believe that God blessed me, with much fun, food, and fellowship.  All, in addition to laughing beyond belief!

Spoken...

Like I usually comment about, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll be heading from home to worship.

However, I won't be going to worship with my church family.  Even though that is what I normally do.

Instead, I'll be heading across the border, to USA.  Once I've returned to Canada, I'll tell you about this experience.  :)

Even so, I'll be worshipping in spirit and in truth.  And, through music.

This hymn is by George Briggs and John Zundel and is entitled, God Has Spoken By His Prophets.  Here is a link for you to be able to listen and/or sing along:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wFg7XBdCtRw.  The lyrics are below.

God Has Spoken By His Prophets

God has spoken by His prophets,
Spoken His unchanging Word,
Each from age to age proclaiming
God, the one, the righteous Lord.

Mid the world's despair and turmoil
One firm anchor holding fast:
God is King, His throne eternal,
God the First and God the Last.

God has spoken by Christ Jesus,
Christ the everlasting Son,
Brightness of the Father's glory,
With the Father ever one;

Spoken by the Word incarnate,
God of God, ere time was born;
Light of Light, to earth descending,
Christ as God in human form.

God is speaking by His Spirit,
Speaking to our hearts again;
In the age long Word declaring
God's own message, now as then.

Through the rise and fall of nations
One sure faith is standing fast:
God abides, the Word unchanging,
God the First and God the Last.

Yes, God has spoken.  He's spoken through His Word, the Bible.

As the lyrics tell us, God has spoken through Jesus, His everlasting Son.  Christ, who was born as God in human form.

God's Word, has never changed.  It has always remained the same.

Just as we read in Malachi 3:6, "For I am the Lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed."

Yes, He will never change.  Nor, will His Word.  The Bible.

There are some people who do not accept the fact that the Bible is scripture inspired by God.  But, it is.

In it, He has told us in many places, how He loves us.  And, what we need to do, in obedience to His Word.

Do you read your Bible?

Do you attend Bible study?

Hopefully, you do.

If so, may God bless you... always.

Put Away...

Anyone who knows me personally, or who has read Life with Lynnie (LwL) for a while, knows that whenever I am in my van driving, I listen to the radio.  Not music.  Rather, I listen to pastors/preachers/teachers.

Recently, Adrian Rogers of Love Worth Finding, was speaking with regard to Hebrews 12:14-15.  His message was entitled, "The Blight of Bitterness".

When I heard the message, it struck me in a way I never expected.  I believe it was God's way of answering a question I had prayed to Him about.

Bitterness is something that people find hard to deal with.  Especially, when they've been hurt.

Knowing that this week we celebrated Remembrance Day, honouring veterans who gave of themselves, to fight for our freedom, made me think about those who not only gave their lives... but, also of those who were injured.  And, suffered and/or are still suffering.

On November 11th, Remembrance Day here in Canada, in U.K. and other Commonwealth countries and Veteran's Day, in USA, many people shared postings on Facebook (FB).

There was a posting that truly touched my heart.  It was to let people know that some veterans are suffering physically.  And, may suffer for the rest of their lives.

Here is a link to a posting by i100Independent.co.uk entitled, These moving photos of wounded solders were taken by Bryan Adamshttp://i100.independent.co.uk/article/these-moving-photos-of-wounded-soldiers-were-taken-by-bryan-adams--ekVtINzZDx.

Hopefully, you took the time to open the link and see how some veterans are suffering, physically.

Something that may/may not be understood or thought about, while seeing those photos, is the fact that there is much emotional pain endured by those who have been injured.

Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), is very common, with those who have been injured.  In addition, many people have trouble accepting what has happened to them... and feel bitterness, anger, and hatred towards many people.  And, sometimes even towards God.  :(

Thinking of this, reminded me of Ephesians 4:31, "Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:"

Please, don't think it is easy to deal with those issues of life, like being physically disabled by being hurt by someone else.  It's not.

But, God is there for all who will look to Him, to help them through the enormous trial of life, that will change their lifestyle, and more.

So, my friend, please pray for all who have been hurt by others, who have caused their lives to be totally changed.  Pray that God will heal them, and/or help them deal with the issues of bitterness, wrath, anger... and help them to forgive.  Just as God told us to do.

May God bless all whose lives have been changed, in many ways.  And, may God bless you for praying.

Until next time...

Have I Told You?

From time to time, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I discuss music.  Plus, the fact that I adore music.

There is a song that touches my heart when I hear it.

It's by Van Morrison and is sung by Rod Stewart and is entitled, Have I Told You Lately That I Love You.  Here is a link for you to listen and/or sing along:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vQUQcAzAi3k.  The lyrics are below.

Have I told You Lately That I Love You

Have I told you lately that I love you?
Have I told you there's no one else above you?
Fill my heart with gladness
Take away all my sadness
Ease my troubles that's what you do

For the morning sun in all its glory
Greets the day with hope and comfort too
You fill my heart with laughter
And somehow you make it better
Ease my troubles that's what you do

There's a love that's divine
And it's yours and it's mine like the sun
And at the end of the day
We should give thanks and pray
To the one, to the one

Have I told you lately that I love you?
Have I told you there's no one else above you?
Fill my heart with gladness
Take away all my sadness
Ease my troubles that's what you do

There's a love that's divine
And it's yours and it's mine like the sun
And at the end of the day
We should give thanks and pray
To the one, to the one

And have I told you lately that I love you?
Have I told you there's no one else above you?
You fill my heart with gladness
Take away my sadness
Ease my troubles that's what you do

Take away all my sadness
Fill my life with gladness
Ease my troubles that's what you do
Take away all my sadness
Fill my life with gladness
Ease my troubles that's what you do

Hopefully, you are like me.  Hopefully, when you hear this song, it brings to mind someone important to you.

Most people think of this song as being a love song.  And, it is.

Many think of it as being a love song towards another person in their life.  And, it is.

But, to me, it is something even more than that.

To me, it refers to my Lord, Jesus Christ.

Some of the lyrics just fill my heart with love.  To and from Him.

Thinking about Jesus' love for us, brought to mind Romans 5:8-11, "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
11 And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement."

Yes, there is a love that's divine.  It's yours, and it's mine.  Like the... Son!

And, at the end of the day, we should give thanks and pray, to the One!  To, the One.

The one who loved us so very much that He gave His life for us.  For all who believe upon Him.

And, by doing so, we who believe upon and trust in our Lord, Jesus Christ, are justified and saved.  We are reconciled to God.  And, through Him, we have received atonement.  Forgiveness.

For this, I am and will always be grateful.

Until next time...

Freedom?

Quite a while ago, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I commented how under the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) and Stop Internet Piracy Act (SOPA), if a USA government person doesn't like a remark made in real life, or on the internet, a person living anywhere in the world can be arrested and held, without conviction or proof, for an indeterminate period of time.  Possibly, for as long as they live.

Talk about removing freedom of speech.

Good luck to those who work for newspapers, writers and/or anyone who has an opinion that differs from what the current political agenda has in mind!

Hmmm... I can't help but wonder how many people who gave their lives for the cause of freedom, would be turning over in their graves, if they could?

Our freedom will definitely be eroded, even here in Canada, whether or not our own government follows suit.

For those who don't know or understand what both these acts are about, you may want to listen/watch the Youtube link in yesterday's LwL entry.  Here are more links to articles and videos:

For more info, I suggest you Google it, yourself.

I'm sure you'll agree that our world is going to take a major change.  Especially, with some Muslims all around the world stepping up, speaking out, and doing more, including murdering infidels (those who are not Muslim).

In my opinion, we will not be able to voice our opinions as our forefathers initiated for us.  Instead of thinking we must keep up a stiff upper lip, and get on with life, we'll be zipping up our lips, and living in a society that is clearly defined in the Bible.

We Christians will be hated (as we already are in some societies), as we are told in Mark 13:13

And, as we are told, in  Matthew 10:21, "And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death."

Yes, our society and lifestyle will continue to change.  More people will experience life where others, including family and friends, will turn against them, preferring to support secular thinking, rather than living the way God would have us do.

Even if all changes aren't necessarily good for the people, those who are saved by trusting in Jesus Christ, know that these changes must occur.

So my friend, if you are reading this, and you are not yet a born-again believer in Jesus, I suggest you come to Christ, today.  Tomorrow, may be too late.

Until next time...

Lest Only Some Of Us Forget...

If you read yesterday's Life with Lynnie (LwL) entry, you'll know that I wrote about Remembrance Day, and how we should not forget those who gave of themselves so that we could have the freedom and peace we have, today.

Well, at least, the freedom we have today.  It seems we truly do not have the peace that we had a generation or more ago, here in Canada.

While I was on Facebook (FB), I read and shared this article by The Toronto Sun entitled, Lest only some of us forgethttp://m.torontosun.com/2014/11/10/lest-only-some-of-us-forget.  If you took the time to read this article, you'll be aware that not everyone wanted to honour those who fought for our freedom.  :(

Did this surprise me?  Not really.

After all, not everyone is even sad about we Canadians being attacked, here in our homeland, and having some Canadian soldiers hurt, and/or murdered.

While watching the suppertime newscast on CBC, I watched a video, where there were some veterans speaking at an event where there were school children.  Some of the children were standing behind the veterans.

As our national anthem, O Canada was being sung, some of the children were singing along with veterans, and others.  Some of the children, were not singing.

Does this surprise you?

At first, it did surprise me.  Until I realized that the children not singing our Canadian national anthem, were Muslims.

I must admit, this upset me, in a mild sort of way.  Yet, it truly wasn't shocking to me.

It proved to me, and to anyone else who noticed this, that it seems Muslims are not caring for anyone here in Canada.  Or, for our country, even.

If they did, I believe they would have sung our Canadian national anthem, along with fellow students, teachers, adults, and veterans who were at this event.  Yet, they did not sing.

In my opinion, Muslim children are being taught and brought up by Islamic parents who are teaching them to not be loving or supportive of anyone who is an infidel (anyone who is not Muslim).

Possibly, these Muslim children are being brought up with the idea of eventually having violence against us infidels.  Truly, only God knows... and their parents and/or other relatives.

Think this is silly?

Maybe you should read the following articles that I saved, and had not posted over the last couple of years.

This article was printed on p. B2 of The Windsor Star, Monday April 9, 2012, entitled, Violence scuttles Easter in Syriahttp://www.windsorstar.com/business/Violence%2Bscuttles%2BEaster%2BSyria/6429223/story.html

Also on p. B2 of The Windsor Star, Monday, April 9, 2012 another article published was, Car bomb attack kills 38 in Nigeriahttp://www.windsorstar.com/search/bomb+attack+kills+Nigeria/6429224/story.html

On p. D1 of The Windsor Star, Tuesday, April 10, 2012 this article was printed, 40 killed in Nigeria Easter slaughter:
http://www.windsorstar.com/news/killed+Nigeria+Easter+slaughter/6433509/story.html#ixzz1rdlNOVmZ

As you can see, Muslims are being violent in many countries.  Almost all over the world.  Including even here in Canada, now.

If Islam was not teaching Muslims to be violent against infidels, why would this be happening?

Okay.  I realize that some people reading this may have an idea that my thinking is against Muslims.

It is not.

I am not against Muslims.  Just as I am not against people of other religions.

Please remember that people of other religions are not hurting and/or killing people all over the world, the way Muslims are.  So, there is not much need to speak out against those who are not trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.

No matter who they are, whenever I speak with people, I plant those seeds for Christ, that God commanded us to do.  I do this, to be obedient to God.  And, to show others that I love them.

Thinking of this, reminded me of James 1:22, "But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves."

My friend, I pray that you are doing what God commanded us to do.  I pray that you are planting those seeds for Christ, too.

If you are doing so, you are a doer of the word, and not a hearer, only... who would be deceiving your own self.

For if you are a doer... you will be blessed by God.

Lest We Forget...

Today, is a special day, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).  Just as it is a special day, here in Canada.  And, in some other countries.

Being  Remembrance Day, many people will honour those who stood up for freedom.

Some people will wear poppies, in support of those who gave of themselves.  Not just those who died standing up for freedom, but also for those who gave parts of their lives and time away from those they loved at home, to do what was right.

Those who attend Remembrance Day services, will usually lay the poppy they are wearing on a memorial site.

Services are usually held about 11:00 a.m.  Why then?

On November 11th at 11:00 a.m. 1918, Armistice day began.  This was the date and time when armies stopped fighting during the first world war (WW1).

Remembering those who stood for freedom, is an important thing to do.  At least, it is in my mind.

After all, without them doing this in the past, we would not be enjoying the freedom we have, today.

Freedom is not free.

It comes at a cost.  A cost that is paid for by many.  Sometimes with their lives.

There is no greater love that we can expect from anyone, here on earth.

Just as God's Word, the Bible, tells us, in John 15:13, "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends."

May God bless each and every person who has stood up for freedom, in the past.  And, who is doing so, today

And, may God bless you... for wanting to remember and honour those, who have given of themselves, for your freedom.

The Ode of Remembrance

They went with songs to the battle, they were young.
Straight of limb, true of eyes, steady and aglow.

They were staunch to the end against odds uncounted,

They fell with their faces to the foe.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:

Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.

At the going down of the sun and in the morning,

We will remember them.

Lest we forget.

Until next time...

H.B. Z! & More Important...

Before I begin today's Life with Lynnie (LwL) entry, I would like to let you know that today is my grandson Z's birthday.  Happy Birthday, Z!  I'm looking forward to spending time with you, your mom and family members, later today...

Like normal on our Lord's Days, I went to worship with my church family, yesterday.

While I was able to participate in yesterday's Bible study class, I once again arrived, a few minutes late.  :(  I apologized for this.  :)  To be honest, attending slightly late, is better than... never!

Our pastor was on holidays, so he didn't preach.  Normally, when he's on vacation time, he and his wife are away.

However, yesterday was very different.

Not just because a brother in the Lord, preached a wonderful sermon, yesterday (thank you, brother J!).  But, also because our pastor came to worship with our church family!  :)

All in all, yesterday's worship time, was absolutely wonderful!

Arriving home, I once again felt extremely exhausted.  So, I laid down for a quick 40-wink nap.  Well, okay... it was more like a 20-wink nap, since it was only about 20 minutes!

Even so, it helped give me some energy to keep moving on, throughout the rest of the day.

Knowing that about a week ago, I had installed wreaths on both my now deceased husband Gordon's grave site, and on his parents' grave site, I stopped by, at the cemetary.  I wanted to make sure that the stands and the floral arrangements were secured, properly.

I must admit, I was happy they were.  :)  Even if it is sad to have to place such things, at all.  After all, life would be very different, if all my loved ones who are no longer alive, were still breathing, and living, here on the earth.  With me.

Thinking about how I managed to get through the whole day, even though I was totally exhausted, made me think about how God takes care of me.  Always.

Just as we read, in Luke 12:22-24, "And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on.
23 The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment.
24 Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls?"

Yes, He takes care of me.  And, of all who are trusting in/believing upon Him, our Lord, Jesus Christ.

Just as we read in today's Bible verses, Jesus spoke to those who belonged to Him.  His disciples.

And, what He said, is truly a blessing to remember, whenever we as people, suffer in various ways in life.

For He knew and explained to His disciples, and to all who read the Bible even in this era, that we, His children... are even better than birds, and more.

Are you trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ?

Hopefully, so.  I'd be really happy to meet up with you, in Heaven, some day.

If you have not yet gained salvation, through Jesus Christ, then I would suggest you come to Christ, today.  Tomorrow, might be too late.

H.B. B! & Perfect Peace...

Before I begin today's Life with Lynnie (LwL) entry, I would like to let you know that today is my daughter B's birthday.  Happy Birthday, B!  I'm looking forward spending time with you and family members, later today...

Once again, I'll be letting you know that I'll be going to worship with my church family.

For this, I am thankful that I am able to physically do this.  Praise God!

With my brothers and sisters in the Lord, I'll be worshipping in spirit and in truth.  And, through music.

A hymn came to mind, that I adore.  It was written by Frances R. Havergal and is entitled, Like a River Glorious.  Here is a link, so you can listen and/or sing along:   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x3_E-UasJ1I.  The lyrics are below.

Like a River Glorious

Like a river glorious is God’s perfect peace,
Over all victorious, in its bright increase;
Perfect, yet it floweth fuller every day,
Perfect, yet it groweth deeper all the way.

Stayed upon Jehovah, hearts are fully blest
Finding, as He promised, perfect peace and rest.

Hidden in the hollow of His blessed hand,
Never foe can follow, never traitor stand;
Not a surge of worry, not a shade of care,
Not a blast of hurry touch the spirit there.

Stayed upon Jehovah, hearts are fully blest
Finding, as He promised, perfect peace and rest.

Every joy or trial falleth from above,
Traced upon our dial by the Sun of Love;
We may trust Him fully all for us to do;
They who trust Him wholly find Him wholly true.

Stayed upon Jehovah, hearts are fully blest
Finding, as He promised, perfect peace and rest.

Stayed upon Jehovah, hearts are fully blest
Finding, as He promised, perfect peace and rest
.

We read in this hymn, that whenever we keep ourselves focused upon God, we are fully blessed.  And, will find perfect peace... and rest.

Just as God's Word, the Bible, tells us in Isaiah 26:3, "Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee."

Like this Bible verse states, God will keep anyone in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed upon Him, for anyone who does this, trusts Him.

To be sure, there is nothing greater in life, than knowing that God truly loves us.

Remember, He loved me... and you, so very much that He created a plan of redemption for us.  Then, He sent His only begotten Son to earth, to suffer and pay the price for our sin, so that any person who trusts in/believes upon the Lord, Jesus Christ... will be saved.

For this, I am truly grateful!  Thank You, Lord!

Until next time...

Wild Bill & More...

On Life with Lynnie (LwL) today, I'll be discussing things that I believe we as Christians need to be doing.

First, I would like to say how grateful I am that the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ) is a functioning group in USA.  They are doing whatever they can to stand up for what is right, for God's people.

May God bless them!  After all, they are literally standing up and fighting for fellow Christians, who are being persecuted for their faith.

My Facebook friend, L posted a Youtube video on my wall, and I later shared it.  It's by Wild Bill for America and is entitled, God and Country Americanshttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jc1pjCRLrA8&feature=youtu.be.

Please understand, even though this was created by an American, and the title doesn't really say it refers to other countries, the creator actually mentions... Canada.  Hallelujah!

In my opinion, Christians in USA, Canada, and truly in all countries around the world, need to be doing what he suggests.

What does he suggest?  We as Christians need to speak up!

We need to be speaking out to encourage our government and fellow citizens to realize that both our countries, and others also, were created and based upon Christian values.

We need to be speaking out, to teach others, who may not know and understand God's Word, the Bible.

Just as we read, in 2 Timothy 3:16-17, "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works."

Absolutely!  Yes!  We are supposed to use scripture, which is inspired by God, to lead, teach and instruct others as to what God wants.

Those who created our government programmes, in both USA and in Canada, based our legal system and more on what was taught in God's Word, the Bible.

So, we need to stand up.  We need to speak out.

After all, there are many people living in our countries now, and who may/may not understand the reasoning behind the laws that were created.  And, if they don't, they will make every effort to change what governs us, within our countries.

Will God be happy?  Of course!

His Word tells us that by using His Word, to instruct, correct, or more, the man of God (meaning people who belong to Him), may be made perfect.  Not just by knowing and using His Word to teach others.  But, also because it will lead us to good works.

For this, I will always praise God!

And, will always speak up, especially to those who are trying to rid this world of Christianity.

Until next time...

Theirs Is...

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I feel the need to educate people to understand that Christians in various parts of the world, are being persecuted, and more.

Some people die.

I recently watched a CNN video, entitled Iran executes woman who killed her alleged rapisthttp://www.cnn.com/2014/10/25/world/meast/iranian-woman-execution/index.html?sr=fb102514IranExecution10aStoryLink.

Recently, I received an e-mail from the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ).  Here is what it said:

Lynn,

Asia Bibi may die for an act of kindness.

A Pakistani Christian mother of five, she offered a cup of water to a Muslim neighbor.

For that, Asia Bibi was called “unclean,” and her Christian faith “filthy.”

Then, when she defended her faith and refused to convert to Islam, she was sentenced to death.

We must stand with Asia. At the ACLJ, we’re mobilizing our resources worldwide to plead her case, but we need your help:

Sign the Petition: Spare Asia Bibi’s Life.

Jay Sekulow
ACLJ Chief Counsel

This sort of thing seems to be happening on a regular basis, in Pakistan.  Although not much has been heard about stuff like this in the past, we are hearing about it, now.

Here is a link to an article by Times of India - Pakistan entitled, Christian couple burned alive for allegedly desecrating Quranhttp://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/world/pakistan/Christian-couple-burned-alive-in-Pakistan-for-allegedly-desecrating-Quran/articleshow/45036018.cms?

It's amazing how the word 'allegedly' is commonly used.  It seems to matter not, if what happened is truth.

Truth doesn't seem to matter to Muslims.  It seems that if they want to rid the world of someone, usually an infidel (someone who is not a Muslim), they move forward with persecution, whether or not it is deserved.

Something I am thankful for, is the fact that God... the True God, has told us in His Word, the Bible, that Christians will eventually experience persecution.  And, that those who suffer persecution for doing what He would have us do, are blessed.

Just as He told us, in Matthew 5:10, "Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."

These fellow Christians spoken about here, on today's LwL entry, are definitely blessed.  Even if they have suffered.

Muslims may think they are having control over the world, but they don't.  Anyone who has read God's entire Word, the Bible, knows the ending.

Our God wins!

Even so, please pray for our fellow brothers and sisters in the Lord, who are being persecuted.

Until next time...

Allah vs God

Once again, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), we'll be discussing truly important issues.  Issues relating to what we discussed on LwL, yesterday.

Here is an article posted by myfoxdetroit.com entitled, Marine banned from daughter's school after dispute over Islam homework assignmenthttp://www.myfoxdetroit.com/story/27147749/marine-banned-from-daughters-school-dispute-islam-homework-assignment.

Hopefully, you read the article.  As I found out from postings on Facebook (FB), similar articles have been posted by various news groups, around USA.

What happened here, breaks my heart.  And, makes me angry.

Not just because Islam is being taught.  But, also because some people in charge of teaching children today, are not wise to what is happening in the world.

Here is an article by zeenews.india.com entitled, Boko Haram says kidnapped schoolgirls 'married off':  http://zeenews.india.com/news/world/boko-haram-says-kidnapped-schoolgirls-married-off_1492403.html.

This article is referring to the 219 schoolgirls that Boko Haram kidnapped earlier this year, in Nigeria.  However, if you read this article, you would also understand that at least a couple of German men were also kidnapped, and one (1) was killed.

Hopefully, you read that article.  If so, you'll have read the following:
'Nigeria`s government maintains that talks are ongoing in the Chadian capital, Ndjamena.
But Shekau, speaking in Hausa, dressed in military fatigues and boots with a black turban, and flanked by 15 armed fighters, said: "We have not made ceasefire with anyone.
"We did not negotiate with anyone... It`s a lie. It`s a lie. We will not negotiate. What is our business with negotiation? Allah said we should not." '

As we just read, Boko Haram is not negotiating, in any way.

So... why is it, that our general population in the world, doesn't seem to want to accept the fact that Islam is trying to take over the world?

Islam teaches that Muslims are to convert everyone in the world to Islam.  Peaceably, if possible.  If not, they have the right to cut off the heads of all infidels... meaning, we who are not Muslim.

Of course, Muslims do not realize that their god is... Satan.  Not the God of Christianity.

Do they care?  Obviously, not.

All they want to do is be obedient to their god.  And, be filled with hate towards others.

Unlike our true God.  God who is filled with love.

Just as we read, in 1 John 3:1-24, "Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.
Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.
Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.
11 For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.
12 Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous.
13 Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you.
14 We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.
15 Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.
16 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
17 But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?
18 My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.
19 And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him.
20 For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things.
21 Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.
22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.
23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.
24 And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us."

Just as we read in today's scripture, the world knoweth not.

Who is of the world?  Anyone, who is not a believer in the one true God.

Our true God who is so filled with love, that He sent His only begotten Son to earth, as a human, to suffer and die on a wooden cross, for the sin of the world, of all who will believe... and was resurrected so now Jesus is seated at the right hand of God, the Father.

By trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, we gain salvation.  And, will one day be resurrected and spend eternity in Heaven, with Him.

Will it matter how we die?  No.

It won't matter if we die by natural means, health problems, by accidents, or by being murdered.

Yes, we may be murdered by a non-Muslim.  However, chances are, many of us may be murdered some day, by Muslims who are working hard to take over the world.

If you are already a believer, saved by Christ, then please... plant seeds for Him.  Just as God commanded us to do.  By doing this, you will be obedient to the God of the Bible, and many will become saved.  Even Muslims.

As for yourself, if you are not yet saved, please... trust in/believe upon Jesus Christ, today.  Tomorrow may be too late.

Until next time...
