Before I begin today's Life with Lynnie (LwL) entry, I would like to say that today is the anniversary of my dad's death. Even though we didn't have a fabulous relationship, I truly loved him. And, miss him.
This day, will be a very special one. In a very different way.
As I mentioned previously, my pastor, Tom Perry asked me to give prayer and to speak this evening, at our Prayer Focus Evening event. It is being held where I worship with my church family, at Walkerville Evangelical Baptist Church, at 7:30 p.m.
So, I'll be there, giving my testimony. Just as he requested.
If you'd like to join us, you are welcome to do so.
Here is a link, to where you can check out information: http://www.gowebc.com/. If you live in Windsor, ON, Canada, you are probably already aware of where 815 Windermere Rd., is. If you do not know, it is a block east of Lincoln Rd. and about a block and a half south of Wyandotte St. E.
It would be nice to see you, there!
Just so you know, I may be speaking this evening, but it will only be for a short time. I am not the object of tonight's meeting. Prayer, is.
Even so, I do have a testimony. And, so do you! If you are one of His children, that is.
As His child, we are to give testimony.
Just as we read, in Mark 5:19, "Howbeit Jesus suffered him not, but saith unto him, Go home to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee."
Much like that fellow was told by Jesus, each of us, who belong to Him, all need to tell others about great things the Lord hath done for us. After all, He has been there for us, and has had compassion on us.
Has Jesus done great things for you? Do you belong to Him?
If you want to honour Him, do what God told us to do. Believe upon the Lord, Jesus Christ, and you shall be saved (Acts 16:31).
Until next time...
