Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), from time to time, I mention the fact that I watch movies. It's because, I do!
Recently, a friend e-mailed me a link to a video I thought was lovely. No, it's not a movie. However, it has clips of movies. I felt it might touch your heart, just as it did, mine.
It is a YouTube video and is entitled, AFI's 100 Years, 100 Movie Quotes (Musical Montage). Here's a link so you can watch/listen: https://www.youtube.com/embed/594Oxq4c0XA?feature=player_embedded.
I found this to be a wonderful video. Even so, near the end, I found it actually brought tears to my eyes.
Why? I have no idea.
Well, maybe I do. After thinking about it for a minute or so, I believe that this video brought back memories.
Memories of the films, themselves. But, also memories of times when I watched those movies. And, who I watched some of those movies with.
While this brought tears to my eyes, I was grateful for the comfort God gave me. And, gives me every day of my life.
Thinking about being comforted, brought to mind the Holy Spirit. Just as Jesus told us would happen, the Holy Spirit came to us.
Just as we read, in John 14:26, "But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you."
He not only comforts us, but He also guides us, and teaches us. He brings things to our remembrance, of what God told us.
How wonderful is this?! It's fabulous!
How grateful I am for God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. The trinity, as we hear, today.
Thank You, for providing for us, always.
Until next time...
