Mom... & The Silvery Moon?!

Before I begin today's Life with Lynnie (LwL) entry, I would like to say that if my mom were still alive, today would be her birthday.  Even though it breaks my heart that I cannot speak to her and wish her Happy Birthday!, I still love her.  And, miss her.

As I discussed over the last couple of days, here on LwL, I have had music within me that hasn't left me, yet.

In addition to the song I mentioned previously, I had another one live within me, as well.  At least, over the past few days.

I awoke with a song resonating in my heart and mind.  It was written by Gus Edwards and Edward Madden and is entitled, By the Light of the Silvery Moon.  Here's a link sung by Bing Crosby, for you to listen to and/or sing along:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0jldS-r5RRM .  The lyrics are below.

By the Light of the Silvery Moon

Place park, scene dark, silvery moon is shining through the trees;
Cast two, me, you, sound of kisses floating on the breeze.
Act one, begun. Dialogue, "Where would you like to spoon?"
My cue, with you, underneath the silvery moon.

By the light of the silvery moon,
I want to spoon, to my honey I'll croon love's tune,
Honeymoon keep a-shining in June,
Your silvery beams will bring love dreams, we'll be cuddling soon,
By the silvery moon.
There is more lyrics, but they are not recorded on today's link.  Here they are:
Act two, scene new, roses blooming all around the place;
Cast three, you, me, Preacher with a solemn looking face.
Choir sings, bell rings, Preacher: "You are wed for evermore."
Act two, all through, every night the same encore.
By the light, (By the light, By the light),
Of the silvery moon, (The silvery moon).
I want to spoon, (Want to spoon, Want to spoon)
To my honey I'll croon love's tune.
Honeymoon, (Honeymoon, Honeymoon),
Keep a-shining in June. (Keep a-shining in June)
Your silvery beams will bring love dreams,
We'll be cuddling soon,
By the silvery moon.
Your silvery beams will bring love dreams,
We'll be cuddling soon,
By the silvery moon. (The silvery moon).
Wow!  Talk about a song being a mind-blowing type thing!

Once again, I must say that I have no idea why I have had this song on my heart and mind, in addition to the other one.

After thinking and reflecting on this one's lyrics, I am still as much confused as I am towards the other song.  Especially, since this song is virtually asking questions.

Questions like... where would you like to...?  And, about... spooning (which I believe relates to loving).

This song may be once again a reflection about God's love for me.  And, Him asking what I want in my life.

The lyrics allude to my heart's desire, where it says... Your silvery beams will bring love dreams.  Is God telling me that my dreams will come true?

Which dreams?  Once again, I feel confused.

You may be wondering why I feel confused.  If so, then I will explain by saying that while I truly have various hearts' desires, I only want to do what God is leading me to do.

So, I am praying to Him.  Like I feel I must do.

Much like we read, in Psalm 27:11-12, "Teach me thy way, O Lord, and lead me in a plain path, because of mine enemies.
12 Deliver me not over unto the will of mine enemies: for false witnesses are risen up against me, and such as breathe out cruelty."

I'm trusting Him to lead me. And, deliver me.

I believe we need to ask Him to do these things, because we need to be not just lead down the path He wants us to walk.  But, we also need protection.

Protection from enemies.  From people who can/will be cruel and will rise up against me/us.

How blessed I am that He loves me.

How blessed I am that He provides for me.

Does He love you?  Does He protect you?

If you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, then you would know with all your heart, that He truly does.

If you do not yet have a personal relationship with Jesus, then you will probably not be believing He is doing this for you.

Please, don't turn and walk away.  Come to Christ, today.

You'll be glad you did!

Until next time...
