I believe it is about time that I let you know here on Life with Lynnie (LwL) what I've been up to, lately.
Over the past week, I was able to attend two (2) locations where I was able to offer copies for sale, of the book I authored, Love Never Fails You....
Last Saturday, the location I was at was at North Shore Antiques store, in Harrow. This was about a 45 minute drive for me. But, I managed to get there in time to join some fellow authors/friends just as previously planned.
In addition to visiting with each other, and promoting our writings, I also was able to leave a few copies with the owner. This made me happy, because this meant that people who live in that area, may be able to be encouraged, by reading Love Never Fails You...
There was a couple of other things I did, while I was there.
In addition to shopping in the antiques store, I also shopped at a store called, Blimey's British store and gift shop, which is next door to where I was in the antique shop. It was so easy to access this store, due to them having an opening that connected the stores.
Thank You, Lord!
In case you're wondering why I was happy about this, it is due to the fact that I actually picked up a Christmas gift there, for a friend! Now, I'm done Christmas shopping! :)
On Monday afternoon, I went to the Can-Am Indian Friendship Centre, here in Windsor. The location was easy for me to find, because several years ago, the office of the real estate broker I worked for, was located in that same building.
It made me feel strange, yet at home, being there. Not due to being surrounded by many Native Indian people, but by being in the building where I used to have my desk/office!
To be honest, we had meeting rooms on the lower level, but I had never before been in the room where my table was located, where I was set up to do marketing, once again. There was actually many of us, in several rooms!
Knowing that many native people are not Christians, I didn't believe I would sell copies of Love Never Fails You... since it is acceptable by mainly Christian people. Much to my surprise, I did sell copies, though!
At both locations, on those days in Harrow and in Windsor, I also managed to do some fund-raising for Lupus.
In case you are not aware, my daughter P, has Lupus. So, I am happy to be able to do fund-raising in support of those who need healing.
Thank You, Lord!
Ahhh... I truly feel thankful!
For He is on my heart and mind, all the time. He's the main focus of my life. And, everything I do, I do in an effort to honour Him.
Sort of like what we read, in Colossians 3:17, "And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him."
Everything we do, we need to do in the name of our Lord, Jesus Christ. And, we need to give thanks. Always!
Are you thankful to God?
Do you do all for Him?
If not, then I believe you must pray about this, my friend. Please know that I will be praying for you.
Until next time...
