Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I think today is the day when I should give you a bit of an update on my life.
Yesterday, while doing some things at home, a knock was heard at my door. When I answered it, there stood a postal worker.
I had registered mail!
The mailman told me that he thought my passport had arrived. After signing for the registered mail, I opened the packet and found he was right.
My passport was there! Hallelujah!
After I had finally been able to drive again, and had the repair work done on my van, I had taken the time to get my passport renewed.
To be honest, I was shocked at how many people were doing the same thing I was, that day. It was even more surprising that I ran into someone I know, there!
It was so busy in that federal passport office, that there was hardly anywhere to sit. The room was filled with people.
While there, it took longer than I thought it would. It seemed like I was there almost all afternoon.
But eventually, I left with a receipt I was given. This was confirmation that my passport was being renewed.
For this, I praised God!
After all, it's been a very long time since I was able to go anywhere. Well, other than going to London, Ontario, for medical care!
Of course, there's no guarantee that I will be able to go anywhere, anytime soon. But, I'm believing that God will provide for me.
Especially, since He knows my heart and my desire to do more for Him.
Thinking of this, brought to mind Isaiah 6:8, "Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me."
After being locked into my apartment for close to two (2) years, suffering with physical problems that resulted in repeated surgery and other medical treatment, I am looking forward to being able to do more, for my Lord.
He alone knows the plan He has for me. He alone knows what my future will bring. Especially, since He knows the end from the beginning.
How grateful I am that He provides for me, always. I believe He has plans to send me places.
I am looking forward to being able to do more for Him. Hopefully, sooner rather than later.
Until next time...
