Removed...

If you've read Life with Lynnie (LwL) recently, you'll know that I gave an update on my health situation.  And, requested prayer.

Thank you, for praying for me.  I truly need prayer for healing.

Something I hadn't yet mentioned, is what happened after I returned home.

My nurse, who had been on vacation, returned.  So, I didn't see my replacement nurse, the next day.  Instead, I saw my regular nurse.

After explaining to her what happened the day before, at the hospital in London, Ontario, I thought she would be supportive of me.

To my surprise, she wasn't.  Even though the doctor had given instructions to take further care of me, in writing.

Please know that I do not plan to describe everything we discussed.  I will say however, that she was not supportive of me, in any way.

And, even though the doctor had given instructions for my continued care of the opening that needed to be healed, she didn't want to see me for a few days.

This lead to a horrible situation.  A situation that was heart-breaking to me, in many ways.

Even though I was hurt and upset, I chose to be faithful and trust God in this hurtful situation.  I prayed for those who had hurt me.  And, I forgave them.

Just as God told us to do, in Mark 11:22-26, " And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.
23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
26 But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses."

Believe me when I say I prayed.

I trusted that God would provide for me, so that I would not be treated in a way physically, where I would become infected inside me.  And, I forgave each and every person who seemed to want to withdraw care for me, instead of helping me.

Forgiving others is very important, if we want to be forgiven, ourselves.

God answered my prayer, once again.  He removed the mountain that was blocking my care.

Eventually, after having conversations with various people at the company my nurse works for, and with Community Care Access Centre (CCAC), that is a government office in charge of home care for patients, I ended up having a different nurse come to my apartment.

This happened, once it was determined that I needed to be able to treat my own body, since I was not going to receive any further assisted care, at home.  So, the nurse came to teach me to care for my wound area, that I could barely see.

Once again, I thank Him for all He has done for me.

And, I praise Him for all who have prayed for me.  I thank you for this, from the bottom of my heart.  May God bless you, as you continue to pray for my total, restorative healing.

Until next time...
