Once again, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I feel I must speak up, regarding some worldly issues.
Before I begin discussing today's issues, I would like to say how proud I am that I am proud of our Canadian Prime Minister, Stephen Harper. And, proud of the fact that he has openly commented in the past, that he supports Israel.
You need to know that I was late turning on the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) newscast on the evening of Monday, January 20, 2014, and only caught part of a story regarding what our Stephen Harper had said regarding Israel.
However, on Google+, I came across this article that Prime Minister Stephen Harper's office posted. I was happy to open the link and read The Knesset Press Releases entitled, PM Harper tells Knesset Canada will back Israel "through fire and water". Here is a link to the article: http://www.knesset.gov.il/spokesman/eng/PR_eng.asp?PRID=11102.
It was said on CBC, that some Muslims walked out, not wanting to hear anything further that Prime Minister Stephen Harper had to say.
It seems that we Canadians are not liked. At least, in my opinion, not any more than anyone who is not Islamic.
You may or may not be aware of another issue that has affected people.
Not Canadians. Nor, Christians. But rather, Israeli people.
Three (3) teenagers were abducted, and later found dead.
Please read this link: http://www.cbc.ca/news/world/3-missing-israeli-teens-found-dead-near-hebron-1.2692115.
If you read it, you'll be aware that Hamas has been blamed for what happened. Hamas. That is just one (1) of many Islamic groups who are hateful towards non-Muslims, and do their best to fulfill what the Quran and other of their holy books tell them to do.
However, they are not truly doing what they have been instructed to do.
Islam teaches them that they are supposed to give infidels (non-Muslims) the option of becoming Islamic. If refusal is the issue, then they are free to cut off the person's heads, as per their religious instruction.
Did they do this with those Israeli teenagers? Only God knows. Especially, since they were held in captivity, before being murdered.
Thinking about being held in captivity, brought to mind Psalm 126, "When the Lord turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream.
2 Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The Lord hath done great things for them.
3 The Lord hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad.
4 Turn again our captivity, O Lord, as the streams in the south.
5 They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.
6 He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him."
How my heart breaks, knowing that those teenagers who were abducted, were held captive by Muslims, whom they probably realized would murder them. How they must have suffered.
How my heart breaks for the families of those teenagers, who were murdered by the Muslims.
My heart grieves.
I will continue to pray for their families and friends. And, for all who are being held captive by Islamic groups, whether in private quarters, or in prison.
No matter what, I will continue to do God's work. Even if it means sowing in tears.
Please... join me in prayer. And, please... do as God wants us to do.
Plant seeds for Christ. Not just at home with family. Plant those seeds, everywhere you go. And, in everything you do.
For this, as His child, God will bless you.
Until next time...
