Have Spoken!

In yesterday's Life with Lynnie (LwL) entry, I mentioned about the heartbreak I feel while thinking about those who have suffered by Muslims.

Is there anything we can do about this?  In my opinion, yes... and no.

As humans, living in a Godless world, we can do what is humanly possible.

We can speak up.  And, speak out.

We can do this, so that others who share our living environment, can see the truth about what we need to deal with.

We can do whatever we can to encourage our government to stop allowing sinful groups of people, who claim to be loving and peaceful, when in fact they are not, from having our laws changed to reflect their desires.  Desires that will ultimately lead to the destruction of our freedom, within our countries; maybe not at the moment, but at some point in the future.

Ultimately, we can do nothing much else.  Other than pray.

The rest has to come from God.  His will is always done.

He knows the end from the beginning.  He knows the suffering that His people will go through.  Even if we do not.

So, we need to trust Him, for all things.  While doing this, we need to take a deep breath, and give the ultimate prayer requests to Him.

After all, He did tell us that we would have troubles in life.

Just as He did, in John 16:33, "These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world."

God alone can give us peace.

Peace that goes beyond all understanding.  Peace that can only come from Him.

He made it clear to us that we shall have tribulation.  We will suffer, with trials in our lives.

But, just as He told us... we need to be of good cheer.  He overcame the world.

And, because we who belong to Him, who are His children, who are saved by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, are doing as He requested, we will overcome the world, also.

Are you trusting in Jesus Christ for your eternal salvation?  There is no other way to spend eternity in Heaven.

If you're not saved, you need to be.

The fact is, if you are not saved when your body gives up life here on earth, you will suffer for eternity in Hell, separated from God... with no chance of escape.

I hope I will one day see you in Heaven, even if we do not meet, here on earth.

The only way this will be possible, is if you have come to Christ, repented, and have chosen to live for Him.

Please know I pray for you.  Always.

Until next time...
