Above All...

Once again, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll be discussing this day being a day of worship.

After all, it is SONday.  Our Lord's Day!

For the first time in quite a while, I'll be driving myself to worship with my church family!  Thank You, Lord!

He deserves to be worshipped.  He loves us.  And, provides for us.

Once again, I will use music to honour Him.

A Facebook (FB) friend posted a song on my wall/timeline, the other day.  I had heard it before, but when I listened to it on that occasion, the lyrics struck my heart.  So, I decided to use it to glorify Him, today.

The song is by Michael W. Smith and is entitled, Above All.  Here is a link for you to listen and/or sing along.  The lyrics are below.

Above All

Above all powers
Above all kings
Above all nature
And all created things
Above all wisdom
And all the ways of man
You were here
Before the world began

Above all kingdoms
Above all thrones
Above all wonders
The world has ever known
Above all wealth
And treasures of the earth
There's no way to measure
What You're worth

Crucified
Laid behind a stone
You lived to die
Rejected and alone
Like a rose
Trampled on the ground
You took the fall
And thought of me
Above all

Above all powers
Above all kings
Above all nature
And all created things
Above all wisdom
And all the ways of man
You were here
Before the world began

Above all kingdoms
Above all thrones
Above all wonders
The world has ever known
Above all wealth
And treasures of the earth
There's no way to measure
What You're worth

Crucified
Laid behind a stone
You lived to die
Rejected and alone
Like a rose
Trampled on the ground
You took the fall
And thought of me
Above all

Crucified
Laid behind a stone
You lived to die
Rejected and alone
Like a rose
Trampled on the ground
You took the fall
And thought of me
Above all

Like the rose
Trampled on the ground
You took the fall
And thought of me
Above all

Above all else, nothing is more important than what Jesus did for us.  Just as the song states, He lived to die.

He died for you, for me, and for all who will believe upon Him.

Just as we read in John 20:31, "But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name."

Friend, if you are not trusting in Jesus Christ for your salvation, your eternity will be spent separated from God, in Hell.  With no escape.

Trust in Him, today.  Before it is too late.  And, you will be blessed... for eternity.

Until next time...
