Truly Evil...

As I discussed yesterday, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), Meriam Ibrahim truly needs prayer.

Her life is at risk.  And, so are her children's lives.

You may want to review yesterday's LwL entry, to understand her situation.

After receiving several e-mails from the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ), requesting support and prayer, I heard from a Facebook friend who lives in Africa, that the Sudan government had decided to release her.

At the time, I wondered if this was really the truth.

I also wondered if it was just a lie set out to calm people down, who were approaching them, about this issue, speaking out... in an effort to have Meriam Ibrahim and her children released from prison, and allowed to return home to USA.

It seems that it may truly have been a lie, because I later heard that the government withdrew the decision to let Meriam Ibrahim go.  This means that she is still scheduled to be flogged 100 times, and then hung.  Murdered.

Here is a link to read about her and her family's situation:

Please know, I do not only feel badly for Meriam.  I also feel broken hearted for her family.  Her husband.  And, her children who will not be returned to their dad, because He's an American Christian.

Here is another link for you to check out, posted by LifeNews.com

It talks about how Islam will not wait for Meriam Ibrahim's baby to be two (2) years old and weaned, before she will be flogged and murdered.  It lets us know that her flogging and murder may happen within days... if her appeal is thrown out.

Yes, she is truly suffering persecution.

Just as we read in 2 Timothy 3:12, "Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution."

May God help her.  And, her husband and children.

While Meriam Ibrahim's life here on earth may end, her children's lives will go on.  But, not with their Christian dad, who is American.

They will be kept in Sudan.  They will be forced to be raised Islamic and will probably never know anything about our Lord, Jesus Christ.

Please pray for Meriam, her husband and her children.  Please pray for all who are imprisoned and/or who are suffering and being persecuted for their faith.

May God bless you, for praying.

Until next time...
