More Blessings!

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I have something special to say.

Wow!  God sure has been blessing me!

If you read yesterday's LwL entry, you'll know that on Father's Day, my friend A truly blessed me.  Once again, I thank you, A!  May God bless you...

Then yesterday, Monday evening, my friend M A, her husband R and her son R came to visit me.

Part of the reason for the visit, was because M A needed to show me how to use the Avon web-site.  She needed to hire another person, in order for her to qualify for a conference coming up in the fall.  And, time was running out.

So, yes... I signed up and placed an order, so she would qualify and be able to attend the conference.

This meant we had to do some paperwork.  So, she helped me with it, showing me on-line how to do this.

Even though I did this solely to help my friend, her husband and son helped me.

I had found out that the concrete grinding had finally been finished on the balconies.  Yes, there is still more work to be done, but at least concrete dust won't be flying around, like smoke in a fire.

This meant that for the first time since the fall of 2012, I would actually be able to use my air-conditioner.  For this, I thanked God!

However, since the maintenance people had created a box to cover the unit, it needed to come off.  And, I couldn't do it.

First of all, I'm not supposed to climb a ladder, which I would have had to do.  Then, I would have had to unscrew the unit, and lift it off.  This, I could not do, for I still cannot lift or carry much of anything, never mind doing so on a ladder.

So, the fellas uncovered my air-conditioner.  Hallelujah!  They packaged up the wooden cover, so that they could take it home and clean off all the bird do-do on it.  Thank you, so very much!

Then, the filter was checked, and M A's husband got my unit working.  Hallelujah!  Once again, I thank you and your son, so very much.  May God bless you, both...

As Christian friends, we do our best to help each other.  For this, I am truly grateful.

Thinking of how we not only helped each other, but believing we needed to do so, brought to mind Philippians 2:1-4, "If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies,
Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.
Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.
Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others."

Wow!  God sure showed me that I am loved.  And, so is my friend and her family.

Just as those verses tell us, we looked to help each other, because we knew that individually, we both had needs.  And, wanted to help each other, more than thinking only about ourselves.

What a blessing their visit was to me.  And, I understand that their recent visits, regarding me signing up to sell Avon, with my friend M A as my group leader, is a blessing to them, too.

How grateful I am that we all looked at each other's needs and decided that they were more important than our own situations.  God sure provided!

M A will be able to fulfill her desire, regarding the upcoming conference.  And, I have been enjoying the cool air that is filling my apartment.  Hallelujah!

Yes, I am truly blessed!

Until next time...
