H.B. T! & Happy Father's Day!

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I enjoy celebrating special times.

With today, being SONday, it certainly is a special day.  It's a day when I enjoy honouring God.

Unfortunately, I am once again doing this at home.

Truly, I wish I could get out and live a normal life.  I believe God is healing me.  Once I am healed, I
will be able to do things like I should have done, yesterday.

Yesterday, there was a celebration for the pastor where I worship when I'm able to get there, at Walkerville Evangelical Baptist Church.

It was a birthday celebration for pastor Tom Perry!  Tom was turning 50 years old.  How I wish I could have celebrated with all who attended.  All I can say, is... Happy Birthday, Tom!

Today, is a day of another celebration, though.  Here in Canada, it's Father's Day!

Thinking of my dad, I decided to honour him with some writing.

F - First, I must say that I love you.

A - And, even though you are no longer here on earth, I think of you.

T - The time we had together was too short.

H - Having time with you again, will be a blessing.

E - Eventually, God will provide.

R - Rejoicing, is what I'll do, when I see you, again!

Honouring my dad, is very important.

Just as we read, in Ephesians 6:2-3, "Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise; That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth."

My dad wasn't a perfect person.  But then, neither am I.

Even so, he holds a special place in my heart.  I will always love him.  And, do my best to honour him.

I love you, dad!

Dad, even though we are not together, please know that I miss you, and will always love you.

May God bless each of you, who are able to spend time with your dad, on this special day, to honour him.  Enjoy the day!

Please understand that even though our earthly fathers are important, the most important person to ever call Father, and honour... is God.

He provides for all His children and loves them, totally.  Even salvation, for eternal life.

If you don't know how to become one of His children, please know it is not difficult.  Just believe upon the Lord, Jesus Christ, and you will be saved (Acts 16:31)!

Until next time...
