Thank You, Lord...

If you know me personally, or if you've been reading Life with Lynnie (LwL) for a while, you'll know that I look forward to Sonday.

Today, being my Lord's Day, I wish I could go worship Him with my church family.  Unfortunately, I cannot yet do so, due to my physical condition.

Even so, I worship Him at home.  In spirit.  In truth.  And, with music.

One piece of music that is always with me, is one written by Seth and Bessie Sykes entitled, Thank You, Lord (For Saving My Soul).  Here's a link to listen and/or sing along:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=guIClPBWRW8.  Below, are the lyrics:

Thank You, Lord (For Saving My Soul)

Thank You, Lord for saving my soul
Thank You, Lord for making me whole
Thank You, Lord for giving to me
Thy great salvation, so full and free

Thank You, Lord for saving my soul
Thank You, Lord for making me whole
Thank You, Lord for giving to me
Thy great salvation, so full and free

It brings tears to my eyes, thinking about how our Lord, loves me.

For this, I praise You.  And, thank You, Lord.

Just as we read, in Psalm 139:14, "I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well."

Marvellous are Your works.  You have fearfully and wonderfully made me.

Not just in my original life when you saved me from spending eternity in Hell.

But, also, for everything you've done for me, recently.  Saving my life.  Rebuilding my body.  And, encouraging my soul.

Friend, if you do not yet know our Lord, Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, I pray that you will do so, today.  Tomorrow, may be too late.

Until next time...
