Yesterday, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I discussed how I watched a couple of movies on Saturday.

Sonday, being my Lord's Day, I wasn't able to go worship with my church family, as you're probably aware.

Staying home and being alone, doesn't allow much for me to do.

After reading my Bible, and worshipping Him, in spirit and truth, along with music, I prayed.

Then, I watched more movies.

I should let you know that I truly enjoy the television (TV) station, Movies! TV Network.  Here's a link to check out the schedule for today:  http://moviestvnetwork.com/schedule.php.

Since I had virtually not much to do, and since I was tired of trying to lay down to sleep, I enjoyed Sunday's movies.  Even if they weren't of a Christian nature.

Here's what I watched:

Phone Call From A Stranger, starring Bette Davis and Shelley Winters.  Here's a link to find out more about it:  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phone_Call_from_a_Stranger.

This was a drama, that I found to be inspiring.

The Devil and Miss Jones, starring Jean Arthur and Robert Cummings.  Check it out, here:  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Devil_and_Miss_Jones.

Being a romance movie, it was enjoyable.  Especially, the ending!

To Catch a Thief, starring Cary Grant and Grace Kelly.  Here's a link for you to check it out, if you're not familiar with it:  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/To_Catch_a_Thief.

This mystery film, is probably known by many people.  Still, I found it enjoyable.

The Cheap Detective, starring Peter Falk and Ann Margaret.  Here's a link to check it out:  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Cheap_Detective.

This was a mystery film I had only seen part of, a long time ago.

I must admit that the reason I wanted to watch this particular movie, had nothing to do with its title, or story line.  It had to do with the actor, Peter Falk.  Peter Falk, is an actor I have always enjoyed watching.

However, there's another reason I wanted to watch him on TV.  He looks like my dad's brother.  My uncle.

How rarely have I ever had contact with relatives living enormous distances.  Watching the film, made me feel like I was watching my uncle!  lol  :)

Doing so, brought back loving thoughts about my uncle, and other family members.

Loving others, including family, is something we must all do.  After all, God told us to do so in His Word.

And, He loves us.  Of course, we love Him, for different reasons.

Like we are told, in 1 John 4:19, "We love him, because he first loved us."

How grateful I am that He loved me enough to come to earth, and to suffer and die on a wooden cross for my sin.  And, the sin of the whole world, of all who will believe upon Him.

I often wonder how people who do not know Him, make it through this life without Him.  But then, this is a subject for another day.

Hopefully, you're also trusting in our Lord, Jesus Christ.  And, have gained eternal salvation, by doing so.

After all, He loves you.

Until next time...
