Hello, Again...

From time to time, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I've let you know that music resonates throughout my entire being.

When I am awake.  And, when I am asleep.

One song has been on my heart and mind, both night and day.  For several weeks, now.

The song was written by Neil Diamond and Alan Lindgren, and it's entitled, Hello Again.  Here is a link for you to listen and/or sing along:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KBQVKzNpW4s.  Here are the lyrics.

Hello Again - Neil Diamond & Alan Lindgren

Hello again, hello
Just called to say 'hello'
I couldn't sleep at all tonight
And I know it's late
But I couldn't wait

Hello, my friend, hello
Just called to let you know
I think about you every night
When I'm here alone
And you're there at home
Hello

Maybe it's been crazy
And, maybe I'm to blame
But I put my heart above my head
We've been through it all
And you loved me just the same
And when you're not there
I just need to hear

Hello, my friend, hello
It's good to need you so
It's good to love you like I do
And to feel this way
When I hear you say
Hello

Hello, my friend, hello
Just called to let you know
I think about you every night
And I know it's late
But I couldn't wait
Hello

There are a few parts of the lyrics that truly amaze me.  They seem to relate well to me, and my relationship with my Lord.

"We've been through it all... and you love me just the same" is one part that replays over and over in my heart and mind.

Yes, I can relate to that line.  It means a lot to me.  I've been through so very much in my life.

More than I've ever written about.  And, more than you could ever dream of.

Amen, Lord.  We've been through it all... and... I love you, just the same!

Then, there's the lyrics, "Hello, my friend, hello... Just called to let you know... I think about you every night".

While I think of my Lord, Jesus Christ, always... it amazes me that this part of the song plays over and over in my heart and mind.  It's like He's telling me that He thinks of me, regularly.

Of course, one part of the lyrics that means a lot to me, is where it says, "It's good to love you like I do".

It does my heart good to think about the fact that He loves me.

After all, I know I love Jesus.  And, I know He loves me.  God told us so in various parts of His Word, the Bible.

Yes, it amazes me how much God truly loves me.  After all, like I said the other day, I'm not perfect.

Even so, Romans 5:8 told us about His love for us, "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."

Can you imagine how much love that truly is?

Can you imagine dying for someone you love, even though they were sinners and not perfect?

How grateful I am that God provided for me.  And, for you... if you belong to Him.

Do you belong to Him?  If not, I would suggest you read God's Word, the Bible.

Faith cometh by hearing and hearing, by the Word of God.  This is where you'll have your eyes and ears opened to His Word.  And, truth.

Until next time...
