Blessed! & Thankful!

If you know me in real life, or if you've been reading Life with Lynnie (LwL) for a while, you'll be aware that I enjoy blogs.

Of course, I enjoy writing LwL.  But, I also enjoy reading other blogs.

A few months ago, I came across a blog, that I enjoyed.  It is a travel blog.  About RVing.

Once I found I enjoyed this blog, I went back to the beginning of the blog, and began reading it.

Of course, when I see something I would like to comment on, I don't always do it.  If the time is too far in history, there's no point.  At least, in my mind.

However, on this blog, I did make a comment a few weeks ago.

The writer of the blog, actually e-mailed me, with a response.  This was in addition to allowing my comment to be posted, on-line.

On another occasion, I posted a comment on the RVing blog.  I should let you know that this blog is set up to receive comments.  Unlike LwL.

The reason I commented was because I was shocked that the writer posted on November 24th, that it was his birthday.  Wow!  Yes, it was shocking to me.

After all, it turns out that we share the same birthday!  And, he and his wife are Christians, too!

Then, as I got sick about three (3) weeks ago, I was e-mailed, once again.  They let me know they were praying for me.

How blessed I felt!  I thanked God!

Then, a few days ago, as I was reading their entry on Going RV Way, I noticed they had a link to my blog... LwL.  It was listed among the other blogs they read.

I replied to another e-mail I had received from them, where they let me know they were still praying for me, in addition to commenting upon something I had posted.

I also let them know that I was surprised they had added LwL to their list, since LwL is not an RVing blog (although one day it may be...).  I let them know I was thankful.  And, I let them know that I added their blog, Going RV Way, to the list of blogs I read.

You'll see a link listed on the right side of this page, where it says:  My Blog List

In the past, I had several other RV blogs listed, there.  However, when the blogging system broke down, all were lost/removed by the system.

Yes, I could have re-added them.  However, at that time, I made the decision to only make links to Christian blog sites.

Please know that it did my heart good to have my fellow blogger and his wife, let me know that they read LwL.  And, that they were encouraging others to read LwL, also.

However, what made me feel blessed the most, was the fact that they let me know they have been praying for healing for me.

How encouraging!  How blessed I felt.

After all, God wants us to encourage others.  He wants us to lift each other up, in prayer.  He wants us to be supportive and edify others.

Just as they did, me.

And, just like He told us, in 1 Thessalonians 5:11, "Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do."

I thank you, my new blogging friends, for being kind to me.  For praying for me.  For encouraging me.

I praise God for you, that you are willing to allow your followers/readers an opportunity to link into LwL.

Mostly I praise God that He has provided fellow believers in our Lord, Jesus Christ, to open the door for the unsaved to read about God.

I praise God that He has brought Godly friends into my life.  And, of course, I praise God for the internet.  For without it, this would not be possible.

I am thankful that I am able to write LwL, daily.  And, post it on-line.

I'm thankful that God has helped me to be able to write about how He works in my life, and in the lives of others.

I'm thankful that those who have been encouraged by my writings honouring our Lord, Jesus Christ, feel blessed.

After all, this is the purpose of me writing LwL.  I want to Honour my Lord.  And, help others who are hurting.

I want to do His work, as He told us, to help comfort others.  And, edify them.

I want to help those who belong to Him, recognize that God is with them, not just daily, but every minute of every day.  Especially, so they can rely upon Him, during stressful times.

After all, He is with us always.  And, promised to be with us, until the end of the age.

Yes, I must say, I feel blessed.  And, thankful!

Until next time...
