All Ways... Always!

As I mentioned yesterday, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL) I am one of those people who constantly has Jesus on my mind.  With music, and without.

He's helped me get through a rather busy week.

Okay, I cannot do as much as I used to do.  Nor, do I have as much strength as I previously did.  However, He provided for me and made a way for me to accomplish all I needed to do.

Thank You, Lord!

Even though I haven't been working, I still have expenses to pay.  That's in addition to having things I need to do.  Like bookkeeping, every quarter... meaning every three (3) months.

This week, I managed to finally get it all done, so I could complete my form on line and file for my business HST.  Phew!!!  Am I glad to have it done!

I also had a fair amount of other things to do.

Like fill the six (6) shoe boxes that I obtained from church, to support the Christian shoebox ministry run by Operation Christmas Child.  This meant quite a bit of shopping time, and carrying of items to use to satisfy the needs.

Then, transporting them to church on Thursday, when I attended Bible study.  How grateful I was for pastor Tom, who assisted me by taking the boxes from me, and tending to storing them, within the church.

All this physical work truly wore me out, completely.  Sigh...

I was so very tired yesterday, that I actually took a late afternoon nap.  Ahhh... yes!  Rest!

How happy I was to be able to do this, since I had a full evening planned.

My friend and ex-coworker C, who is now back home in Windsor, let me know he would attend Christian Singles' Café, at Tim Horton's (TH) at Crawford Ave. and Wyandotte St. W.  After all, yesterday was the first Friday of the month!

C suggested we meet for dinner.  So, we met at a Chinese restaurant and enjoyed a wonderful time of fellowship, and a delicious meal.  Thank You, C!  May God bless you...

Then, we headed off to TH, and met up with our group of friends.

C left after a short time, knowing he had to be home for personal reasons.  Even so, everyone was glad to have had C join us once again, after so many months of him being ill and out of town, with family.

Knowing how tiring the whole week had been for me, I had trusted God to help me through.  And, here I was, enjoying an evening with friends!

Thinking of how He helped me all week long, made me think about how our Lord works.  Like in Psalm 28:7, "The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him."

Yes, I rejoice, for I know that without Him giving me strength to accomplish all I needed to do, I couldn't have done it!

I trusted Him.  How blessed I was that He helped me.

It wasn't shocking, for He promised me this.  And you also, if you belong to Him.  If you are His child.

How do you become one of His children?  Believe upon the Lord, Jesus Christ... and you shall be saved (Acts 16:31).

I have... believed upon Him.  In addition, I've repented of my sin, turned away from it, and rely on Him, for everything.

And, yes... I will praise Him, always.  And, in all ways!

Until next time...
