According To...

If you've been reading Life with Lynnie (LwL) for a while, you'll know that my health hasn't been good.

I know I haven't opened up and let you know about the ordeal I've been through, with my surgeons.  While I apologize for this, I must say that I do not want to cause any hardship or further delay in my much needed and overdue surgery.

If you knew, you'd probably have heart failure.

The couple of people that I have spoken with, were absolutely shocked.  And, joined me in feeling upset.

Yesterday, something happened that was very different.

I received an e-mail from a LwL reader.  Someone who I have never conversed with, in the past.

This person let me know that God showed them that I have a lump in my abdomen.  They wanted me to know that Satan was behind this, trying to cause me to have a shortened life.

The message was half in English and the other half in French.

Since I am not great reading French, I used Google Translate.  How I praise God for the availability of being able to use this!

Hopefully, this reader who contacted me, was on the level.  I have no way of knowing if the person is truly who they say they are.  Or, if they are someone who either knows me, or who previously read some of the entries where I wrote about my physical condition.

In either case, it matters not, to me.

You see, the person wanted to make sure I stood up for Christ, praying that He would heal me.  I thank this person for contacting me.  And, I must say that praying for healing, is something I have done for quite a while, now.

After all, Jesus is my Lord and Saviour.  I look to Him for everything in my life.  He's my Great Physician, for whom all things are possible.

And, I trust God for to fulfill His promises to me... and to all His children.

One being told to us, in Philippians 4:19, "But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus."

Yes, God provides for all our need.  Just as He promised He would do.

Whether big or small, our needs are always met.  Not always the way we would like them to be.  But, for sure, He provides!

How grateful I am for this!

How grateful I am for His Word!

How thankful I am that I belong to Him!

Do you?

If you are not trusting in Jesus for your salvation, then you do not belong to Him.  You are simply a child of God's creation.  And, not His child, who is trusting in Him, and whose name has been entered into the Lamb's Book of Life.

Trust in Him, today!  Tomorrow, may be too late.  And, once your life ends, there is no changing where you'll spend eternity.

Until next time...
