A couple of days ago, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I wrote about how I had a leak in the coolant line of my van.  And, of how God helped me make it home!

Being SONday, there were not many places open for repair of my van, or for anyone's vehicle for that matter.  Certainly not the shop of the Christian mechanic, I know!

I prayed about what to do.

I knew I needed to call my daughter P, because I knew I'd need her assistance, no matter who I called or where I took my vehicle.

During our conversation, P reminded me that a friend of hers does repair work.  Usually for trucks, but he might possibly be of assistance.

When she called me back, she let me know her friend would indeed fix it for me.  For this I praised God!

After meeting and checking out the situation in my parking garage, we once again filled my radiator (rad) with water.  What I had put in earlier, had leaked out.

P and her boyfriend K, were such a blessing to me.

They remained at my parking spot and cleaned up the mess.  Thank you, so very much!  Especially since, even that job was something I could not have physically done, in my current health condition.  May God bless you, both!

After moving my van to a nearby parking area, where it could be worked upon, we visited our nearest Canadian Tire store, to pick up the parts and coolant that was required for P's friend to do the work.

Upon returning, our friendly mechanic spliced the tube line.  And, did a couple of other things for me, while he was with us.  Again, I truly felt blessed.  Thank you, my friend!  May God bless you, also!

What a day that Lord's day turned out to be!  Much different than the plan I originally had for it.

Even so, I was thankful to God.  Thankful for the laid-off-from-work mechanic that helped me in my time of need.

Thankful to my daughter and her boyfriend for all the help they provided for me.  Help that I could not have done for myself.

And, of course, to God!

2 Corinthians 9:11-12, " Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God.  For the administration of this service not only supplieth the want of the saints, but is abundant also by many thanksgivings unto God;".

God not only provided for my immediate need, but also the people to help me through this ordeal.  He supplied everything needed that day.

And, for this, I'll be eternally grateful!

Until next time...
