Things I Shall Do...

Today, is my Lord's Day.  SONday.

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL) I do my best to honour Him.  After all, God did tell us to put Him first in our lives.

If I was feeling better, I would go worship.  Instead, I will worship Him in spirit and in truth, here at home.

Watching Christian programming, and listening to preachers is something I enjoy doing.  So, even though I am limiting the amount of driving I am doing, I am still honouring my Lord, as best I can.

I wish I could say the same for all people.

Okay, you're probably going to say that I'm pointing fingers.  I'm not really.  It's truth.  Not all people honour God.  At least, not the God of the Bible.

To be honest, I don't like posting stuff like I have been as of late.

In my heart, I wish I didn't have to speak up.  Speak out, for truth.  God's truth.  If the world was different, I wouldn't have to, for people everywhere would know and understand the truth.

It can be difficult, especially when people don't agree.  But, I know I must.  Speak up, I mean.

After all, God told us in Zechariah 8:16, "These are the things that ye shall do; Speak ye every man the truth to his neighbour; execute the judgment of truth and peace in your gates:"

I suppose I don't have to tell you, that I will continue doing what God called me to do.  Even if the odd person doesn't like it.

I know that I will continue to suffer mild forms of persecution.

Mild, in comparison to what some brothers and sisters in the Lord, experience where they live.  Like those in the middle east.  Like the kind of persecution I post about on Facebook (FB), and write about from time to time, here on LwL.

It can be disheartening at times, that not everyone likes the fact that I speak truth.  For sure, unbelievers are usually like this.

But, believe it or not, once in a while, I hear from a fellow who claims to be a follower of Christ, and holds a position of authority.  Someone, who disagrees with almost everything I write here on LwL.

Please understand that I'm not here on earth to make people happy.  I'm here to do God's work.

I will continue speaking truth.

I'll continue preaching the gospel to all the creatures of the earth.  I'll continue speaking/preaching God's truth.  And, I'll continue praying... for all.  Believers, and unbelievers, alike.

Until next time...
