As I wrote about in yesterday's Life with Lynnie (LwL) entry, it was the end of love month, February.
In some ways, I am thankful.
Not just because it's hard to deal with love month, being a widow. Although, I must say, it isn't easy for those of us who are alone, as some of you know. Especially, with all the advertising and promotion regarding love.
I'm also grateful that this is the first (1st) of the month, because this is when Lisa Maki's God'z Gurlz Bible-based webmag for women, is published.
Lisa has me listed as a contributor. She uses some of my writings in her monthly magazine. Here's a link to what she published, today: http://www.godzgurlz.com/to-and-away.html
If any of you, my sisters-in-the-Lord aren't familiar with the publication, I encourage you to do so. Not because my articles are published there, but because it is an inspirational and supportive on-line magazine for women. Christian women.
Please know that I am not paid for my submissions. Nor am I paid to promote the magazine.
Of course, the same applies here on Life with Lynnie. I am not paid to write this blog, even though I publish a daily entry.
Just as I was writing this entry, I realized that some of you may think I am paid for doing this. Writing, I mean. I'm not.
Although, I must say that for the first (1st) time in over three (3) years, I received a cheque from the Google Adsense programme. With the US$ exchange difference on that day, CAD $99 & change was deposited in my account!
Thank you, Google! And, thank you... to all who clicked on advertising links for more information on goods or services being advertised and promoted on my blog (please note that I do not determine the ads for viewing; Google does)! Hopefully, you benefited from the info you found. May God bless you...
Does this mean I am a paid author/writer? lol I doubt anyone could say this!
No matter the case, I want you to know that I do not do what I do for my own financial benefit. If this were the case, I would have had to discontinue my work for the Lord, long ago.
Yes, I do consider what I write, working for my Lord.
Are we to work for our Lord? Yes! Of course! God told us so, in 1 Corinthians 3:9, "For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building."
Those who read God's Word, the Bible, know and understand that we are commanded to preach the gospel to all the creatures of the earth. And, God expects us to be kind, loving and an encouragement to those who are hurting. Honouring Him, and giving Him all the glory, in the process.
So, in obedience to His calling, I will continue to write about how God works in my life, and yours. And, I pray God will continue to bless those readers who are hurting, with encouragement.
Thank you, Lord... for giving me the ability to work for you, in this capacity.
Thank you for reading Life with Lynnie. May God bless you!
Until next time...
