As I wrote in yesterday's Life with Lynnie (LwL) entry, there are those who preach a false gospel.

And, those who are misled, by being taught improperly.  These poor people will be misled to the point where, when they stand before Christ in judgement, He may say... 'get away from me, I never knew you.'

This is truly a sad thing.

After all, those people are living their lives under the guise of having salvation.  When in reality, they may be lukewarm and rejected by our Lord.

Take a moment to listen to this short video entitled, "Christless Preachers":

Please don't be shocked watching this video, but be assured this is not the gospel, according to the Bible.  Here is a Youtube video entitled, "Rick Joyner's Circus":

Cults are one way that the evil one uses, to lead those astray, who are not tuned in to the Word of God.  Here is a Youtube video entitled, "Cults - Dangerous Devotion (Decoding the Past)":

This Youtube video is a real chiller, at least in my mind (no pun intended) entitled, "Inside Australia's Chilling New Cult"

Here is something that I found to be honouring to God.  It is also relevant for today, even though it was recorded in 1965.  Please listen to Paul Harvey's message of "If I Were The Devil"

Paul Washer speaks on this Youtube video entitled, "Churches are Using Carnal Means to Attract Visitors":

Why are these messages important?

They show that not all preachers/teachers are Bible-believing and Bible-teaching, in nature, even though they should be.  And, God hates this.

He told us so in 2 Peter 2:1-9, "But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.

3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.

4 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;

5 And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;

6 And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly;

7 And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:

8 (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;)

9 The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:

Yes, God told us that there would be false teachers/preachers.  (By the way, I separated the verses, to make it a little easier to read, since there were many verses, today!)

And, He clearly says that those teaching/preaching falsely, will not be spared.  Nor, will any who fall into the unrighteous position of believing those false teachings.

If you are not worshipping at a Bible-believing, Bible-teaching church, I would suggest you do so.  For your own benefit.

Your eternal future depends upon it.

Until next time...
