Forever!!

As I've written here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), our Lord's day is special to me.

Just thinking about what I've written over the last few days has been upsetting, in some ways.  After all, we are living in such a sinful world.

God's Word, the Bible, is what we as Christians rely upon.  Not just to know and understand that God loves us, but also what He expects of us.

At least, that's the way it was.

Things seem to be changing in today's world.  And, not for the better, but for the worse.

Various new versions of the Bible are being written, and distributed.  Some follow what God told us, when He said that no one should add to, or take away from His Word.

Others, are not.  Some are changing the format and meaning of what God gave to us, to support those who are being led astray, by false teachings.

Like the gay bible that I heard is being created and promoted.

It seems that the Christian message is changing.  Not for the better, but to go along with our Sodom-and-Gomorrah-like sinful society.

Something else that is heartbreaking to me, is happening.  Christ's crucifixion is even being compared to how gay people are being treated.

Take a look at this:  BBC Easter message compares treatment of gay people with the crucifixion of Christhttp://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2287775/BBC-Easter-message-compares-treatment-gay-people-crucifixion-Christ.html

Feeling hurt and knowing that God's Word and truth is being literally destroyed, won't change anything.  Except the belief's of those who wish our society to become even more sinful than in the past.

Does this mean that God has changed, as some insist?  Absolutely, not!

He told us in  Hebrews 13:7-9, "Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation.  Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.  Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein."

Jesus Christ, God who came to earth in the flesh, doesn't change.  Not what He thinks.  And, certainly not what He desires of us.

He's the same... yesterday, today and forever

He will never change.  Nor will the Holy Spirit, who convicts those in the process of being saved, and guides those who truly belong to God.  Nor will God the Father, who created His plan of redemption for us.

May God bless those who truly believe His Word; those, who refuse to accept what is happening in today's society.

We must pray.  And, pray hard.  After all, God told us to love the sinner... and hate the sin.

Please join me in prayer for those who are changing God's Word, to support and justify their sinful desires.  Pray that God will open their eyes to His Truth and save them.

Until next time...
