If you've been reading Life with Lynnie (LwL) for any length of time, I'm sure you're aware I love SONday! My Lord's day!
It's been a while since I've been able to go worship God. At least anywhere, but from home.
In the past, I worshipped with friends and church family, at my own church and at various other places of worship.
Since I've been ill and required surgery, twice over the past six (6) months, I haven't had much chance to do this. So, as I've mentioned in the past, I worship from home.
Even though I've had to do this, it hasn't been my first (1st) choice.
Had I been healthy, and able to be seated among many other people, I would have gone to worship my Lord. But, this hasn't been the case.
How grateful I am that God knows my situation.
How thankful I am that He knows my heart's desire. How thankful I am that He knows me well enough, to know that had I been well enough, I would have gone to worship with my brothers and sisters in the Lord.
He understands that I cannot physically do what He commanded us to do. In obedience to His Word, in Hebrews 10:24-25, "And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching."
Assembling ourselves together, is one thing that many Christians do not do. Even if they have the ability to go worship.
God told us to assemble together, consider each other, exhort one another and do so much more, especially since the time is coming when we will not have the opportunity to do so.
How grateful I am, that God knows the end from the beginning. He knows that when I am able physically to once again go worship Him, in spirit and in truth, with my brothers and sisters in the Lord, I will.
Until then, I will continue to worship Him through the means of internet, television and radio.
Until next time...
