Hopefully, the Holy Spirit will help you to see that what I will be discussing today on Life with Lynnie (LwL) is not meant to be viewed, or considered to be hateful.
Why? Because, it absolutely is not.
In fact, by speaking truth, I believe I am loving those who need clarity. Loving those who may be confused about what is right and what isn't. In God's opinion. Not mine.
It seems to me that we are living in a modern day Sodom & Gomorrah. Where sin of every kind, especially sexual sin, is acceptable. And, it seems to be getting worse, each day.
In my opinion, there are publications and groups considered Christian that are are falsely promoting God's Word. Unfortunately, some people rely on what they read and/or hear, rather than relying on God's Word, the Bible.
It broke my heart when I read that the Huffington Post promoted Queer Christ: http://www.mrc.org/articles/huffington-post-promotes-queer-christ
In addition, I am posting this Youtube link by eleventhhournews.com, entitled Sodomy, THE Sign The End Is Near: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R4xNTV_q1wo&feature=share
In my opinion, the worst of what's happening in today's world, is showcased in this article printed by Dead Serious News, entitled Gay revision of the Bible to go on sale: http://www.deadseriousnews.com/?p=237
Of course, there are many people out there, preaching a false gospel. Some teach contrary to God's Word, the Bible, claiming it is okay to sin, because we've been saved by God's grace. This is definitely false teaching and the unfortunate thing is that people will be led astray.
Here is one such example of those who claim to belong to God, who are supporting sin, as written in Black Like Moi where Rev. Jesse Jackson supported the gay agenda: http://blacklikemoi.com/2012/05/black-news-2/rev-jesse-jackson-calls-on-pastors-to-support-obamas-backing-of-gay-marriage/
God makes it clear that we are to love the sinner and hate the sin.
How can you love a sinner, by lying to them? By leading them away from God's truth? That is not love. Being truthful and showing them the error of their ways, is showing love to others.
Romans 1 (here's a LINK so you can read it for yourself) is very clear. God will not support those who change the truth of God into a lie.
In 1 Corinthians 6 (here's a LINK for you to read it) God's Word warns us to not be deceived. There will be those, who will be refused entry to heaven. We were bought with a price and are commanded to glorify God in our body and spirit.
If you're familiar with Galatians 1 (again, here's a LINK , so you can read it), you'll know that we are told specifically in verse 9, "As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed."
People here on earth, sometimes think they can get away with whatever they want to do, sin-wise. Unfortunately, God's Word teaches us that this is not the truth. No one can get away with sin.
If we choose to continue sinning, even after proclaiming to be saved, we may find ourselves in a terrible situation, come judgement day. When we stand before Christ.
As I've mentioned so many times, God cannot and will not tolerate sin. Those who elect to continue to sin against God, His Word, and their own bodies, may find themselves being rejected, come judgement day.
After all, God told us in Matthew 7:21-23, "Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity."
Friend, if you have unconfessed sin in your life, or if you have been teaching/preaching/leading others astray, repent. Repent, now.
Turn away from it, so that you will instead hear the words of Matthew 25:21, "His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord."
Until next time...
