Emergency Prayer Needed!
Anyone reading recent Life with Lynnie (LwL) entries, knows I am being visited by a nurse, who cleans and redresses my still swollen, partly-opened and infected incision.
Today, my most regular nurse arrived later than usual. Her day began a little later than normal.
When she arrived, she quickly told me that her boyfriend’s daughter, who just turned 14, is not doing well, physically. In fact, I knew when the teen had been taken to London, Ontario just over a week ago, that she needed prayer. And, a lot of it.
It seems her kidney transplant went well.
At first she was up and walking, and things looked positive. Then, a turn for the worse happened.
Somehow, she developed pneumonia in both lungs, and one lung collapsed. At the moment, she is being treated as well as possible, but if things get worse, she’ll have to be transferred from London, to Toronto.
When I first heard that a transplant was needed, my heart broke. In fact, I cried.
Certainly, I have family and friends who have been on/or are still having dialysis. But, a then 13 year old? Heartbreaking.
That’s why I am asking you to please pray for this young girl.
You do not need to know her name. God knows her. Please, just pray. Thank you. May God bless you…
The Bible verse I thought of is a short one. But, powerful.
1 Thessalonians 5:17 commands us to, “Pray without ceasing.”
And, that’s what I will do. For this young teen, who severely needs healing. And, for both my daughters, myself, and for you, if you need it.
Please know I pray for you, always.
Until next time…
