OOOOOOOiiiiiiiiiiiiieeeee! Am I ever behind in writing about my comings and goings, here on LwL! I'll do my best to try and bring you up to date!
In doing so, I'll have to go back in time to Friday, August 17th. That's the day when I met my friend C, at Franco's (Italian restaurant) for lunch!
C and I formally met each other when we both became members of the Windsor Book Club. The reading group that I had been meeting up with, until this summer.
However, we have another connection. Her mom worships at my church. And, since meeting C, I recognized that I have seen here there, in the past. Now, whenever we see each other, we make sure we stop and chat!
In any case, I had a lovely time of fellowship with C, that day. Of course, we both enjoyed our meal, as well, but that wasn't the main focus of the time we spent, together.
Being sisters-in-the-Lord, we are never at a loss for something to discuss! Thank you C, for suggesting we meet. I'm looking forward to doing this, again!
The following day, being Saturday, I had some things I had to do. One of them was to meet with Wendy Taylor, at her apartment.
Wendy is the Christian woman who is heading up the Women of Influence conference in November. In case you missed the information previously, here is the information.
If you would like tickets, please contact Wendy, or myself.
Since I would like to arrange a conference myself, Wendy thought it would be good to have me on her team and assist her in making arrangements for her upcoming conference in November.
In addition to Wendy and I, there were several other woment there. Most I hadn't met previously, but some I had. And, one worships at my church.
We had a great time of conversation both before and after the meeting. Two (2) women even wanted to purchase a copy of my book, Love Never Fails You... www.lynniebooks.blogspot.com. I was shocked, but thankful, never expecting this to happen, at a meeting of this sort! Thank you, ladies... and thank You, Lord!
It never ceases to amaze me how God provides, always.
In Psalm 111:5 we are reminded, "He hath given meat unto them that fear him: he will ever be mindful of his covenant." When we belong to Him, he never forgets us.
Even in our struggles of life, God is always there for us. He never forgets us, nor his promises to us. And, for this I praise Him, glorify Him and thank Him!
Until next time...
