Wow! I just realized that I forgot to write about Monday, July 9th.
I'm not saying the 9th was a special day or anything, but I usually write about my comings and goings here on Life with Lynnie (LwL). That day, was a little bit different than what some of my Mondays have been as of late.
In case you're not aware, Realtors licenced in the province of Ontario, must complete 24 credit hours of education, every two (2) years, in order to renew their licence. One course is compulsory: RECO Update.
My real estate board offers the course a few times per year, in order to accommodate the needs of members. July 9th, was one of those dates. And, I took the course that day.
Enroute to the Holiday Inn Select, here in Windsor, I stopped by my Realtor friend P's to pick her up. Together, we spent the day, fulfilling our requirements for education.
Phew! Glad that one's done! Although, I must admit, this time, the course seemed a little easier to do than in the past.
Being a full day timewise, I never find this course easy. You may or may not be aware that I am not supposed to sit for extensive periods of time. In fact, I dread having to take full day courses, because I find that usually my body hurts really badly by the time I'm finished.
I must admit that it was a nice break to walk out to my van, and drive P and I to the nearby Wendy's for lunch.
P treated me to a delicious side caesar's salad and chicken wrap. I must admit, it was mmm... good! Thank you, P. It wasn't necessary, but I appreciated your loving gesture.
Full day courses are not what I normally elect to participate in. However, in this circumstance, I didn't really have a choice.
In addition, this course is usually dry in nature. Not much fun, I suppose I should say. Informative, yes. Fun, not usually.
However, this time I found it to be quite a bit easier to tolerate than before. Possibly the teacher had something to do with it. In fact, I would say that it is probably the truth.
One of our cronies, who has been a fellow Realtor for decades, taught this course. And, he made it fun! Thank you, friend. May God bless you!
Still, by the end of the day, my body was hurting. Yes, I prayed God would help me. And, He did! Thank You, Lord!
This was not surprising to me. After all, God knows my need, before even I do, at times. In this case though, I knew my need and prayed before I even began the course that day.
This brought to my mind Psalm 38:9, "Lord, all my desire is before you; and my groaning is not hid from you."
No matter what, He loves me and helps me through each day of my life. Nothing is hidden from my Lord. Not for me. And, not for you.
Friend, if you are not already trusting in Jesus Christ, for your salvation, I pray you will do so, today. Tomorrow may be too late.
Until next time...
