Last Saturday was the actual day of the Guardian Storage Garage Sale.
Since the opening time of the sale was scheduled for 8:00 a.m., B and I met there before the opening. Since B had once again loaded up her van with things, we unloaded and set up her items for sale.
The only items I had with me for sale, was Gordon's golf clubs, bag and cart set, as well as copies of my book, Love Never Fails You... www.lynniebooks.blogspot.com
W, the Guardian Storage representative, had originally asked everyone to park in a fenced, grassy area. But, after some discussion about my knee problem, we both agreed that one wrong step on uneven ground might lead to re-injury.
W showed great kindness to me, by allowing me to park on the paved area, along side the curb, which was opposite where our unit was located. Thank you, W! I was and still am truly grateful for your kindness to me!
Upon opening to the public, people flooded through the newly opened gate.
Some immediately began looking for items to purchase. Some made their way to the food area set up towards the back of the garage area.
W came around in a vehicle that reminded me of a motorized golf cart! Once again she was very kind to me, providing me a ride to the food area, where Tim Horton's coffee and TimBits (miniature donuts, resembling donut holes) were being distributed, free to all. Together, we rode back again up to the front area, where my garage unit was located.
Once again, I must thank W for all her kindness towards me. I praise God and thank Jesus for you, W. May God bless you!
Here are some pics of the day:
B standing in the midst of the garage sale items!
W standing between the riding cart and the food area.
Some other sellers with their wares!
More sellers' items near the entrance.
Around 11:30 a.m., people began heading down towards the food area, once again. This time, for beverages, water and free BBQ'd hot dogs!
What a great thing to do for people!
Thank you Guardian Storage, for not only providing the location for a wonderful garage sale, but for supplying food, beverages and more to all who participated, whether as sellers, buyers or browsers!
Yes, they supplied all our needs for the day. Kind of like how God does. Just as He promised.
In Philippians 4:19, we are told, "But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus." Thank You Father, for loving me so much that you supply all my need, regularly. I believe I'm truly blessed!
Until next time...
